EX WOLFSTONE GUITARIST
Hi my name is Andy Murray and I was the lead guitarplayer with Celtic Rock band Wolfstone from 1989 to 1994, playing on 2 albums " The Chase " and "Unleashed " which were both Gold selling albums. After leaving the band I persued a solo career and played session guitar for many different artists as well as writing and recording my own material. I also co wrote the song "Coming Home Tonight" which appears on Smokey Album "The World and ElseWhere " Selling over 500,000 copies worldwide.
I created this myspace to promote myself, my guitar playing , my songwriting and my new ideas for self promotion . I also use you tube, blogs and other networking sites.
My biggest challenge recently has been to how I create a presence online as a guitarist and songwriter.
Maybe you have been a victim of or are suffering from the following ailments and or situations to?
1. Your music is really great but you just don’t seem to be getting anywhere and you just cant seem to get the exposure you feel you really deserve. And your spending all your money advertising yourself .
2.You cant find the musicians you really want to work with
3.You cant find an agent or a manager. Especially one you trust
4.You have loads of fans but you still cant get a record deal or don’t know how to get a deal, and do you really need a record deal anyway these days. The industry is changing and you don’t know what to do next .
5.Rip off merchants took your money ( the guy with the studio that claims his brothers mothers sister works for EMI and he can get your demo heard by the big cats ;only to find he just wanted your money and your demo didn’t even get heard by anyone.
6.You feel like your on your own and there is no one to help.
7.Your fingers hurt from trying to get friends on my space.
8.You write your own music from home and want more exposure.
9.You have loads of fans on your myspace but no one is buying your downloads.
10.Did you join the wrong band and stay in it because you thought it would bring you fame and fortune.
11.Are you still playing cover versions in pubs trying to make a living when you really wanted to be in your own band touring the world or maybe just a successful writer for other artists , Tv or Film.
12.You just want to be famous
13.Ah unlucky 13 …you get a record deal and watch the record company make loads of cash while you make nothing
Basically you are just sick and tired of getting no where with your music or being ripped off .

Let me tell you a bit more about myself first
I was born in Dundee Scotland and now live in Inverness. I am the son of Joan and Baxter Murray and I hope I make them proud for being who I am in this world. I have an older brother Malcolm and younger sister Carolyn. Yes that makes me the middle child and I can tell you it was challenging and also fun growing up with them . We are a close family.
I come from a musical family and have been a professional musician since I was 17. I remember when I first started playing , I wanted to be the greatest guitar player in the world . Listening to Van Halen and Joe Satriani , Thin Lizzy, and many more bands of that era was what inspired me
So I set off on the path to being a rock n roll guitarist and wanted the fame and everything that went with it.
I played in local bands for 5 or 6 years and then spread my wings to join bands that were further down the road to success. That was my first mistake.I didn’t realize it at the time but I was slowly moving away from what I loved doing..I wasn’t following my own path. I wanted to form my own band, but I ignored my intuition and followed my egos desire for fame and fortune instead of following my heart . My heart wanted me to play the music I created myself and to find people that were like minded.
ITS EASY TO FALL INTO THE TRAP
I was simply following how I had been programmed from my youth. I was living my life in a way I had learned from everyone around me.
So off I went looking for opportunities ; instead of Creating my own life I was fitting into others.
I toured the world, (never really got into drugs thankfully) and before I knew it I was 30-something and had not followed my own path or realized my own ambitions. I was burned out and feeling kind of directionless.
It took me some time to feel inspired again. Now being more mature I began writing and recording my own material again and put it up on Myspace ,as well as many other sites. I tried to get publishing etc and hit brick wall after brick wall . A handful of people downloaded the music. I got great comments on Myspace, but I wasn’t making any money online. I had a good reputation from things I had done previously. I used my old bands Myspace sites to contact fans but still no one bought the music. I thought “There must be a way ?".There has to be because I don’t want to get back in the back of a transit van again.I didn’t want to tour anymore , not for 6months at a time like before ! I wanted to have a family life and a social life that I missed out on because I was so busy becoming a rock n roller. After much soul searching and solution searching I came upon 2 things which blew my mind and opened me up to new possibilities.
The Law of Attraction
When I saw a movie called The Secret, which explained how to create the life you want through the use of the law of attraction and it became clear to me why people DON’T create what they really want in there lives. I have always been an open minded person, in fact I have always been into self development . So I watched The Secret. I then bought a course relating to the movie called The Science of Getting Rich which teaches you the Law of Attraction. Finally my life was making sense. Now I knew I had been SEEKING all my life and not ATTRACTING success. Hooray I was on my way to being truly happy and I knew what to do.
Let me share two things with you here. Firstly Gratitude is a huge key to creating what you want in your life. When you can become trully grateful for what you have ,then , and only then will you attract or be given more to be grateful for. Its a simple law and it works.
Secondly ,here is a process a friend of mine shared with me many years ago and its worked so many times in so many ways.
The 7 Laws of Manifestation
1. What do you want ?
2. Is it ok to have it ?
3.Do something practical toward having it. Take an action step.
4.What does it look like?
5. What does it feel like? This is a crucial step . In order to really attract what you want you have to REALLY REALLY feel it like it was there right now.
6. Give it to the universe or God or whatever word you have for what you think created all of this world etc.. (WITH GRATITUDE!!! )
7. Relax, let go , know ,believe and trust that it is coming to you. You dont know when it will show up , but it will.
A few months ago I met guy called Danny Arrington who, like me, was a long time student of the Law of Attraction. He had gone a step further and joined a company called MLMgoldmine which teaches you how to create FREE ONLINE TRAFFIC AND TARGETED LEADS using web 2.0 in whatever field you are in .
I didn’t understand a lot of the new jargon I was hearing because I was new to the internet marketing stuff. But I could tell straight away that this was not a normal opportunity. For a start the product you promote is yourself!!
I learned how to become an ATTRACTOR rather than a SEEKER
You see I learned that the key to success was to give value to others , value being to share and pass on what you learn and who you become. What you give you keep . And through doing that you cannot fail to be truly rich in every way!
I am happy to share this knowledge with like minded people. Help inspire you with new ideas and new ways of thinking that can transform you and any business you have. All I ask is that you take action . Tell me what your Biggest Challenge is and if I can help then I will. I look forward to hearing your story ; I look forward to learning from you .
I would like to meet people who want to know or know about the law of attraction, people who have seen the movie The Secret. People who want to create a life they love and who take action to do just that. If you want to know more just ask me and I will help you in any way I can.
