Playing live “Vintage Synth Electronic Beats” as Andy of the Future. Andy of the Future uses multiple synthesizers and various effects to create music influenced by The Chemical Brothers, Mogwai, Do Make Say Think, moe., Tobacco, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Herbie Hancock, The New Deal, Kraftwerk, and many more. Andy of the Future has recently opened for Funk/Afrobeat/Electronic group Nomo, and has played at the Philadelphia 4/20 festival headlined by Agent Moosehead and Bodega.
Andy of the Future was previously in live electronic/improv/jazz group The SEA Trio. As a member of The SEA Trio has played with members of The Sun Ra Arkestra. The SEA Trio has also played on bills with Black Moth Super Rainbow, Nomo, and The Grimace Federation.
As a DJ Andy of the Future has spun funk, jazz, jazz/funk, funk/fusion, electronic/funk, afrobeat, and more. Andy of the Future has opened as a DJ for funk group the Greyboy All-Stars, jam bands Raq & The Bridge, and British funk band The New Mastersounds.
