Over the past several months there has been a peoples' movement in the state of Oaxaca to oust the corrupt government of Ulises Ruiz. The movement has consisted of non-violent actions and protests for an autonomous government that represents and serves the people of Oaxaca. In response the Mexican government has sent in federal police and paramilitary in an attempt to "restore federal order". Theses "troops" are now committing violent crimes and arrests against the protesters. Several murders have already taken place including one American journalist Brad Will.
