On the subway ride home this evening, I saw a young lady - she was standing with one hand on the E-train stripper pole; her second hand was firmly grasping a distinctive-looking brown paper bag labeled "Chipotle."
It made me smile for the entire duration of the trip.

Andy, will you please explain to this Mr. Dixon friend of yours that Quincy Jones' most important work ever was with one Mr. Michael Jackson - not with some Sinatra guy.
You're right. But you know, when you listen to the Sanford and Son theme, even though it's music, the instruments seem to be talking. I think it's probably Quincy Jones's most important work. It certainly impresses me more than the fact that he worked with Sinatra or whatever. Nothing against Sinatra. Scat, bat, bedoop, bebodity yay.
