The first 3 singles were me, myself and my sampler, with a little help from my friends. For 2005's 'Make motion matter' CD, the line up expanded to a full live band including myself, Matt Colegate of Burning Idiot noise, Miles Davies of Domestic 4, Tim Wilton and Rob Taylor. I'm now back to working by myself, new stuff soon!

EVERY MONTH AT THE PENTHOUSE!
I've got a DJ'ing slot at The Penthouse (above The Freebutt), Brighton. The night is called 'Make Motion Matter', it's me plus a guest playing off-kilter disco, electro, post punk, dub step, old school hip hop and percussive oddness of all shapes and sizes. NEXT NIGHT IS 26th JUNE.
yeah.. some of it's getting out into innerspace-like territory. other things are going well... just working on trying to finish the new dumbwaiters album..insect joy after that.. a new dark esquire session during all of this and maybe some time to figure out what i'm gonna do with this xsa stuff... so nothing much going on over here. ;) how's things over there??
that's incredible how she works with the materials! I havent heard of Peter Doig, but I agree with you on the subject of big pictures. I wish the internet could provide that, but I guess what people get here is just a taste of what it is in reality. I would really like to do more shows everywhere though. I think it would encourage me to do more big stuff. I realize that with zines and the internet as your only medium you quickly start thinking in small scales to fit it in. I think I'll do something really large soon. nice to hear from you, as always. are you good and well? I didn't get an interview at the school of visual arts, so my future is now completely unsealed and open. I have no idea what I'll do. and I'm also getting kicked out of my flat in august because the owner is selling it. imagine that.. it sucks growing up.
love the music! :-) fancy heading upto London next weekend? x

Hi Andy. Glad it caught you unawares then. Most people seem to expect it to be really heavy and are surprised by the lighter stuff. Nice to hear I'm not 100% predictable!
I have been catching up on all your MMM mixtapes I've missed out on too. Wonderful stuff. Looking forward to more.
