Started playing guitar and drums at Uni when i was 17 with my mates (Grant Anthony, Paul Mcilreavy & Jon Paul). Formed a band called Wake playing Reef covers. During the next 4 years i played anything i could lay my hands on in lots of bands, hip-hop, funk, 80's metal was always a favourite though especially with Session who i drummed for. In my final year i ended up on the live music society running the Sunday nights. Moved to Edinburgh in 2000 and formed another band Benihana with Grant, Paul Marshall and Edd Ballinger, played electrically with them and also acoustically with Grant in Edinburgh & Scotland over the next 4 years. Also drummed every weekend in a pub covers band for two years. joined The Third Man in 2003 also (www.the-third-man.com) Met Jess Bryant on the scene in 2003. Moved to London in May 2005.
After a couple of years on the acoustic singer/songwriter scene in London i now play drums exclusively. At the end of the day when all's said and done and the shit hits the fan and the tough gets going and the fat lady sings and the shoe's on the other foot and it never rains but it pours, me personally I get on the drums!!!

Smoke Feathers have been invited to play at the INDY Music Awards media launch and short list announcement party on Wednesday April 2nd 7pm at the Rock Garden, Covent Garden, London.
It’s no guarantee that we have been shortlisted for the final, but we hope it is a good sign....

Hello Andy! After our chat this morning i realised that i was actually due to be in Oxfordshire at my mothers cottage on the Wednesday we had discussed.
