    After first attempts on the classical guitar, I picked up the electric guitar when I was 17. Before and shortly after my graduation from high school in 2005 I played in various rock bands around my hometown Cologne (Germany). Inspired by the music of guitarists such as Neil Zaza, Andy Timmons and Ricky Garcia, I started writing instrumental songs at the beginning of the year 2006. After an odyssey of auditioning and rehearsing with half a dozen different bands within a few weeks in the Cologne/ Bonn area I finally joined the Cologne based Metal band "Deus.exe" in December 2006. During my time with Deus.exe I played regular gigs both with the band and as a solo artist and I also had the honour of being a member of Deus.exe when the band's debut album "Transhuman" was recorded in August 2007 and released in spring 2008. In September 2008 I moved to Guildford, UK, in order to study music at the ACM.
