I'm a guitarist/singer/songwriter. Usually theres just me and my guitar but I often have the pleasure of making music with some other, rather talented folks.
I'm currently playing and recording guitars for Dan Webster's first Album release. I'm constantly on a long mission to find the right musicians to play on my own first album. Foda (Paul Fothergill) will most definitely be providing his bass skills, but thats as far as I've got!
I also occasionally play with two function bands, "The Juniors" and "Blue Nun", which features Alistair Griffin on lead vocals.
My song "Victoria Green" has just been used in a short film called "Honour" by a film maker called Shyla Lee. The film is a drama that aims to raise awareness about the shocking consequences that can occur when an Asian girl falls in love with someone from another culture.
The film will be shown at various film festivals here in Britain and hopefully abroad. The first screening was at The National Media Museum in Bradford on Wednesday 26th September.

Great to finally see you play on Saturday. I'll try and get down to another show sometime soon. Gis a nundge when you've got one lined up. No worries about Sunday. If you gonna have a listen check out 'All or Nothing', I added it yesterday. It's got Carl Heathrington playing piano, banjo and all sorts of things and Holly Taymar doing some vocals. I'm alot happier with the sound of my newer songs. It's all getting much closer to how i want to sound. I hope the hangovers warn off! I seem to have got a new one this morning so i'm a bit of a miserable *@#$ today. Anyhow, catch you soon mate!

James Apollo's songs are Americana in the truest sense: drenched in Civil War ghosts, "Steinbeckian landscapes" and the kind of loneliness known only to someone who grew up in Libertyville, Arkansas. The Sunday Times

YOAV brilliantly fuses different music styles: from hiphop rhythms to classical, from alternatine-pop to world music. This effortless blend may be the result of a nomadic and rootless existence, which, from his birthplace in Israel, has taken him first to South Africa as a child, then on to New York, Montreal and London where he lives now. www. myspace. com/yoavmusic
