About me:

Miami artist, Andy V, was born in New York, shortly after his parents left Cuba in the 1960's. Calling Miami home for over 30 years, he created his first solo art studio in the year 2000, at "Urban Garden", a property located in the Little River business district of Miami. After working in stained glass and other mediums for several years, Andy's new environment led him to begin creating with recycled materials. Light fixtures soon became his new passion; a vintage microphone was the first object to be transformed into a light source. Andy continues his visual work today in photography and has focused his creative efforts more on music and production, since he closed his art studio in the fall of 2010.
