I allow myself to add QUITE unfinished material. Sometimes the sound is far from optimal, but sometimes the urge to SHARE a melody in progress overrides every other aspect.
Everything is in progress.
So, you will find songs in progress, and right now I'm adding the first takes of songs that I'm working with.
I can't label my music or capture my sound right here. Alright, I can tell you this; I am into melancholy, and that may capture a little part of my music, or maybe a whole lot.
I started writing lyrics when I was around 15 years old, but it took me some years to really develop this into what I see it like today. I cannot live without writing songs.
I have a 'mini-studio' at home, which means a mac, pro-tools and m-box2, el-piano, guitar etc. I'm not into midi, I am an audio person. Although I know MIDI is cool and all that. Maybe I'll pick it up later again. May need som drum'n bass and all that.
Alright, let's continue the story... I've been studying music for about 7 years. I had piano lessons for about 5 years quite a while ago, many years ago actually. I'm learning by doing it myself. And my regrettable breaks from the piano earlier has caused me many furious moments - I want the piano to TELL ME WHAT TO DO. Doesnt work. But sometimes I'll close my eyes and really go into the music, then we'll work it together. Great moments, those..
Right now I'm studying to get the master degree at the University in Oslo. I've been singing in three bands, but I prefer to work on my own, at least until I find someone who are into the same elements as me. You won't know it before you play together...
I'm living in Oslo now, and I'm working with some new songs at the time. The shit you hear here is not yet finished (I like the songs, but I refer to them as shit because they are not finished).
In the future I wish to work with music as a composer, artist and maybe as a vocal coach. At the time I'm also thinking about starting my own business someday in the future. I like doing things myself, in my own way.
But of course also to play with the other kids in my street.
A record...with 8 songs. My lucky number.
Someday.

If Anyone In MySpace Does Not Take Advantage Of The Opportunity To Just Listen, Then They Are Missing The Point. This Is A Gift Of Wondrous Proportions. Some Complain Of Lack Of Sensitivity And Standard Comments. If An Individual Takes The Time To Respond, Thank You. I Love My Friends And May Not Listen To All Of Their Music, But I Do Get A Taste. I May Not Be An Everyday Friend, But I Am A Friendly Musical Connection, And I Love You And Your Music.
