About me:
As of August 26, 2006 I live in the Middle East.
After ten years of looking toward long-term ministry in the Arab world ...
tomorrow finally came.
I am the Co-Director of a hostel and ministry organization in Bethlehem which is not yet born, but hopes to be in summer 2008.
The Upside-Down Hostel: Hostel Makloubeh

our vision:
to have people, mainly college students from abroad, stay with us . . . for a night, a week, a year (ideally a semester) . . . and find a niche of service somewhere in Bethlehem. THERE ARE MANY NEEDS: orphanages, refugee camps, centers for the disabled, ESL classes to be taught, and local churches which could certainly use some encouragement.
In the midst of this,
we want to start a revolution - in the hearts of individuals beautifully pursuing Christ and His love for people. And we want this revolution to transform Bethlehem, and THE WORLD.
While staying with us: students are mentored; gifts and strengths are watered; overseas living is tasted; prayer and worship saturate; community within the hostel succeeds, fails, succeeds again and grows a revolution.
We will also offer independent study courses on: The Middle East, Islam, Judaism, Christianity and topics which stream from these things.

I'M REALLY THANKFUL for the rampant miracles God has done in providing for me in this season.
