Anewhope was founded in fall of 2005 in germany. In december of the same year the EP „Pretended Apologies“ was released which was sold out on liveshows after 6 months.

From 2005 till 2007 the band has played over 80 shows including a 5 day tour through turkey and a 12 day UK tour.

The five guys shared the stage with wellknown bands like Walls Of Jericho, Born From Pain, All Shall Perish, Fear My Thoughts, Freya, From A Second Story Window, The Red Chord, Neaera, Misery Speaks, Scars Of Tomorrow, Hand To Hand, Amulet, War From A Harlots Mouth, Purified In Blood, The Suicide File and Misconduct.

In march 2008 the band will release the split cd “Follow The Asphalt” together with the band “Eatundatable” over BDR Entertainment in Germany.

Anewhope recorded and produced the full length album “Point Of Impact” in the ConeXtrax-Studios from August till October 2007. It was mastered by the hands of Jacob Bredahl in the Smart n..Hard studios in Denmark.
