About me:
My name is Valerie, and I am 28 years old. I had been overweight or obese since I was in the second grade. Check out the pics... I changed my life.
I am here to be an example to others that ANYONE can change their life. I was the poster child for obesity. I was SO fat and lazy and just hated who I allowed myself to become. I TRULY believe that ANYONE can do this, you can ask anyone who has known me in real life, and they will say,(especially Christina!) "If Valerie can do it, ANYONE can!!"
While, I had been overweight my entire life, it had just recently become a main concern for me since the birth of my son, Cameron (He's 3 now!)
I want to live heart healthy to be a good example for him!
My journey has been AMAZING so far and I am astonished everyday that I am doing this and it is actually working! I am in maintenance mode at this point. It's a little tougher to grasp the concept, but I am managing!
I feel healthier now than I have ever felt in my entire life.
I am an active member of The Biggest Loser Club and I made such lasting friendships on this journey!
Since joining the BLC on 2/14/07, I have lost a total of 132 lbs! My starting weight was 297, my current weight is 165!
I want continue to meet amazing new people over here with the same struggles every day. I am here to prove it to you that you can change your lifestyle and that girl that was always the fat girl DOESN'T have to be anymore!! YOU TOO CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE! INSPIRE YOURSELF AND KNOW YOU CAN!
