Angawen is a specimen of the European-style of melodic power metal, combining high-flying vocals, shredding guitars, intricate melodies, insane solos, and furious drums to create a scope of music as epic as the fantastical stories it captures... ........Rhody Pride! Emergenza kicks off in The Divine City.... ....Thursday, December 7th Angawen began the first ever evening of performances in Providence with a power-metal set reminiscent of the days of yore and a sound that was somewhere between Iron Maiden and Pantera. Speed and flourish was the way of the first set. ....(Emergenza 2006)...... ..We are always looking and willing to play shows and make new friends. Don't be a stranger! ....ATTENTION: ..We are currently on the lookout for a potential keyboardist in the Aquidneck Island or nearby area. Someone to add another dimension of symphonic elements such as strings, horns and synth. We are looking for a capable person; not a first-timer.
