I really like scary movies, especially modern day ones. I like good comedy movies, dramas, horror, suspense. I don't like movies about thugs, ghettos, or depressing stuff because I want to go to the movie to be entertained. If I wanted to be depressed, I'd stay home.

About me: On June 9, 2007, my boyfriend, Craig, proposed to me on stage at The Rocky Horror Picture Show (see my Rocky Horror paragraph below) in front of about 140 people in the audience! The proposal was videotaped and I've edited it into a wonderful video (below)! We met at Rocky around 2003, got together in 2005 because of Rocky parties, and became engaged at Rocky! I love my Craig dearly and he treats me so very well! We're so happy together! (The wedding date hasn't been set, but we're wanting to get married this year, hopefully).

I follow my own path in life. I feel that I've learned enough about life to know when I can go along with the crowd and when I need to go my own way and I choose my paths without regret. I love to laugh and be with others who love to be happy and who will pay you back if you loan them money.
Although I am still young, I've grown up a lot in recent years. I've always been a free-spirit and a dreamer, but I've become a more responsible dreamer. I still love to grab my chances to be a kid every chance I get, of course. I have moved on passed the rebel and young-adult stage and see myself at the beginning of the wife stage and I'm quite happy with this.
If you've ever taken the Myers-Briggs personality test, I'm an INFP. Do a search online for it and you'll find it. It basically means that I'm an introvert, I'm more into feelings than facts and figures and I pay more attention to the way something is said than the words used.
October 2007: I adopted a dog and a cat from the Pinellas County Animal Services. I'd been to about 5 other shelters and couldn't find any small ones. We only were there to get a dog less than 10lbs (so I could pick it up). Since we didn't find any, Craig wandered into the cat area. I joined him soon after and he pointed out a friendly cat. I took her out and we pet her and she was SO very soft and stayed on my lap. We decided to get the cat and were about to leave when a lady there stopped us and said, 'You wanted a small dog, right? We have one just checked out by the vet and ready for adoption. A Chihuahua female. Do you want to see her?' I said yes and she came back with a tiny, skaking, white ball of puppy with 3 tan spots. I loved her right away, so we took her, too. The adoption fee was only $20/each and it came with food for each and litter and a scoop for the cat. The cat was part Maine Coon and a year old. The puppy was 10 months old. I love them so very much!

I've lost a LOT of weight (115 pounds as of now) and I love how much better I look and feel about myself. I had gastric bypass surgery on June 20th, 2006. It is particularly amazing that I've lost so much weight so fast because I was only a little over 100 pounds overweight. I was always a big girl from the time I was a kid. When I graduated high school, I was a size 18. With this surgery, they told me to expect about 80% weight loss and I've lost over 100%! I fit into small sizes now! My size 8 jeans are a bit big on me now. I couldn't be happier!
For the last 11 years of my life, I've been going to The Rocky Horror Picture Show as a part of the live performing cast called, "Interchangeable Parts." I joined the live cast in June of 1996 and have mainly performed the parts of Magenta and Frank, but have played every role at some point over the years. These days, the cast performs in St. Pete Beach, FL and I am the Assistant Director, webmistress, treasurer, and assistant video-creator for the cast's video team called Mango Video Inc. The cast performs at The Beach Theatre and tickets are just $5. Prop bags (you get to throw stuff at this show) are a $1 donation and alcohol and other goodies are sold at the concession stand. Rocky is a very big part of my life and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I met my fiance there!
Who I'd like to meet: Nice people. I like to be around people who like funny movies... those who are cool, responsible people. People who will be nice and go the right thing even if no one is watching. People who use their blinker when driving. People who say "Bless you" when you sneeze. People who will hold the door for the next person (male or female). People who'd give up their seat on a bus to an older person.
