Love is a commitment. It's a command. It's a promise, for better or for worse.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love doesn't take; love gives.
Love is exciting and beautiful and hard and sometimes painful but always worth it.

I am a daughter of God. I am a wife of nine years. I am a mother of three. I am a daughter, a sister, a sister-in-law, and a friend. I am a home teacher. I am a Sunday school teacher and worship leader. I am a singer, songwriter, and guitar player. I am strong in my convictions. I am artistic and creative. I am emotional. I am guilty of self-consciousness, talking too much, and being a people pleaser. I am not very organized but I want to be. I am not as strong as I would like to be. I am not hateful, spiteful, or overly critical. I believe in one God. I believe in the holy trinity--father, spirit, son. I believe in Jesus Christ, his virginal birth, his death, and his resurrection. I am convinced of God's sovereignty and providence. I believe in the doctrines of grace. I am sure of my salvation through Jesus Christ. I am not greedy or selfish though possibly I do love food too much. :) I am a good mom, or at least I try to be. I am committed to teaching my kids about God. I am committed to teaching my children the scripture. I am sometimes funny and sometimes not. I am in love with the color pink. I am a little bit silly. I am not afraid of asking questions. I enjoy thought provoking conversation. I am smart but with three kids I often find it hard to think well. I am me. =)

I'm really looking forward to the possibility of lots of pink, bows and cute little dresses! I'm pretty sure I won't have to worry about that though. It's just kind of how things work around here, boy, boy, boy, boy....... :)
