Though there are some genres I lean towards on a more regular basis than others. Depends what mood I’m in or maybe want to get into. I’ve become a really big fan of Christian Praise music since coming to the faith.
I never thought I’d like it but there are tons of awesome tunes out there.
R&B and Soul before my Praise music days where what I would listen to the most. But also love 60’s 70’s some 80’s music and Motown and Indie and Rock, and Blues and some Pop and Country and some Classical etc.

Hmmm now let me think, I can watch a great film and love it, but then it tends to be forgot about really. I just don't hang onto fav's too much. I like Comedies, though not so much the slap stick silly stuff. I like Mysteries, Science fiction, and fantasy and Period films too. Depends what mood I’m in.

I’ve been blessed with two Beautiful Daughters that never cease to amaze me, they’re truly wonderful and have grown into beautiful woman both inside and out. Being a Mother has and is an experience I’m so thankful to have been able to have had, my daughters have given me so much. - I was also Blessed with a Beautiful Mother, who sadly passed away 1st June 2005, she was a very special person, all who knew her couldn't help but be touched by her love.
I recently became a born again Christian in 2006, though I came to believe in God about a year and a half beforehand. Getting to know God is an amazing journey. Don't get me wrong life is still tough, but its so awesome to have your eyes opened to the truth and to feel the extent of Gods love. A love I myself most certainly do not deserve, but I am so grateful for. I didn't become a Christian because I was a good and righteous person, if that were the case I'd never have thought I needed God. -- Salvation is for the sinner, don't let anyone ever make you feel you are not worthy to call on God because you are. Jesus came to bring you that help, if you feel led to call on Him even if its just a distant thought, then do it..! Don't hesitate and think you're not in a right position with Him to do so, call on Him. He is able to forgive and help you with your life! - Sin is an addiction and like any addiction until we admit there is a problem, we will never be able to move forward. The world is in sickness, we can all see this quite clearly. What we often miss though is the message that Jesus has the cure. Many have/had different ideas of who Jesus was/is and have denied His Divinity, but NONE have found fault with the way He lived His life on this earth! Doesn't that tell you something?
If you’re reading this and you’re not a believer, I totally understand, I’ve been there myself where I couldn't understand how people managed to believe, I thought it was more something they were raised with, how so very wrong I was. God is very real.! I know me saying that won’t change your thinking it didn’t change mine being told it by the one person I believed and trusted; my Mum. While I believed her, (that she wasn't deluded or lying etc.) I still couldn't’t grasp the concept of God in my mind. I've since come to realise, that was the whole problem I was trying to fit God into MY understanding. I'd have my views every now and again of who and what God was all about, (if He even did indeed exist) but what I had been doing was making my own god. I used to think and often say to others if the subject came up, "I'm a good enough person, if when I die there is a heaven and a God, and God doesn't let me in then He isn't the god I thought he was, and I'll gladly go to hell." And you know what? I'd have been right! He wouldn't have been the god I thought He was because that god didn't exist! It was nothing more than a god in my own head. And that god can not help me, except let me delude myself into believing whatever I wanted to believe.
It took me a year and half after my experience of actually finding out that God did exist, to seek Him out to find out who He was and what He was about. I was not looking for a religion I hadn't any time for religion. It wasn't Jesus I was seeking to know, it was God. He had been the one I was praying to and who answered my call. I didn't really understand who Jesus was at that time, for me He was to do with a certain religion and as I say I had no interest in religion or church etc.
I have had to be stripped back to basics, be willing to really know the truth no matter what that meant, in order for God to teach me. The truth can only be found once we're truely willing to face it! Lay aside all our pride and totally trust and have Faith in God. No matter what we may think, we have to be willing to put our thoughts to one side and listen. There were many times when I first started reading the bible that I came across things I didn't quite understand or agree with. I had to learn to take those questions to God, to stop analysing and arguing and just pay attention to the answers. God's ways are not our ways, He can-not fit into our little box of knowledge, He is far too vast! So in order to grasp the character and purpose of God we have to turn to the only source who can reveal this; God himself. It takes time to get to know Him just as it does with anyone else, if we judge Him as we do others from OUR standards then we'll never get anywhere. - I can honestly say that I was a fool, everything I thought I knew was utter rubbish! It was worth giving up my ego to find the truth, I don't know what I was scared of, or what I ever thought I'd have to give up, its been a very exciting and amazing and fulfilling on-going journey.
I've discovered that it's our concept and preconceived notions that we have to give something up that holds us back, whether we're fully aware of this or not. But what exactly is it that's of any worth that we have to give up? - Lack of any real hope, a void in our lives that can never be filled with the rubbish we try to fill it with from the world, lies, shame, despair, lack of any real self worth and direction? etc etc etc.. Are these things of any real value? NO! But we add value to them, the world dictates what value and prosperity is and how to achieve it, and we buy into it, because we don't know any better. We seek to fill a gap that is void of God, only we haven't grasped this, because we have forgotten about God... Become bogged down with trying to survive and get by in the grind of life, in this dog eat dog world we've all helped to create, and in the process been duped into believing God doesn't exists. Only when you come to know and have a relationship with God, does that gap start to begin healing and true value and purpose is understood. - Amazing Grace; "I once was lost but now I'm found... was blind, but now I see."
Everyone's experience in coming to know God is different, for some of us we won't call out to God until we hit rock bottom and have had enough of the life we're in. Quite often if not always the case, it's our pride that holds us back. Pride can often destroy us, we often believe it's what keeps us strong, this is not in actual fact the case. I've seen first hand what damage pride can do, I have even seen it help kill my Dad. Its a tough one to break through.... Anyway in my case I had been driven that far, my trust was shattered, I was losing my source of strength (my mum) my health was effected. My family and I were being hit very badly, it was one thing after another, after another, on and on it went with rapid succession. Life's never easy but usually we get a break in between, not this time, this was an onslaught!.. I was on my last legs and unsure how much more I could take. When one night I awoke crying I can't remember dreaming or anything I just woke in the middle of the night crying! And felt compelled to get on my knees and pray to God so I did, (something I had never done before in my life!.. sure in the past, once in a very slim while when I had wanted something, I had flung up a prayer not really believing it was going anywhere, but nothing like this! ) .. So before I had time to think and analyse my way out of it, I got out of my bed and on my knees, and through my tears, prayed to God from the pain in my heart.... and He answered me big time! I can't even put into words what that's like. But God can take the most terrible situations in this life and turn them around for a greater good. My family and I still had a lot to go through, but God was and is with me all the way and that is something I will be eternally thankful for.
It took me a long time to understand why God would show any interest in me at all, I had hit a very bad time in my life, I hardly recognised myself, some of the things I had done were awful. But gently He kept telling me He loved me, He showed me a beauty within myself where I only saw ugliness. God showed me His love for me long before I loved Him, the more I came to understand how pure and Holy He was the more I couldn't understand how He could love me! God is very gentle in His ways, He is a true Gentlemen. I have found myself changing very slowly over time, and only at my own pace and because I have wanted to, not through any force. Though I have often called out that I wish He would use some force on me because I am sick of making mistakes.
Christians are not perfect, we're just like everyone else except we love God and know and understand that we need His help and through our love for Him we want to learn and grow and become better people. Please do not judge God by our mistakes, for to do so is nothing more than a cop out, it may help you to delude yourself but that is simply all you're doing. We're all guilty in judging others at times, by measuring our standards next to theirs this in some way helps us feel better about the things we have done, but this is not the answer as we all know if we're honest with ourselves. None of us are without sin, even the best people in the world you may count as righteous are guilty of sin too. That is why we need Jesus and why He sacrificed Himself for us. When you understand the magnitude of this it will blow you away! God actually walked this earth with us! He died for you and I, how amazing is that!!!.. The bible really is the greatest story ever told, and the most awesome thing about it is, it is TRUE and REAL! God is not someone you meet when you die, you can know Him here and now! God says in JEREMIAH 29:11-14 -- For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. You will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD " --- I'll end here with a couple of scriptures that mean a lot to me.

2 Corinthians 5: 14-21. For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Philippians 2:4-8. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross!
Luke 4:18-19. Jesus said, The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour.
Matthew 25:34-45. Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. Psalm 72:1, 12-14. Endow the king with your justice, O God . . . he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence . . .

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. - If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word has no place in our lives.

Shalom : ). I recently posted the MOST important & deepest blog which I've ever been led by the Ruach(Spirit) 2 write. It's called : "The Need For Holy Meditation, Trance and Stillness For Increasing Divine Awareness/Perception", being about the clear difference between holy(Biblical) & unholy (occultic) meditation, completely based upon the solid Foundation of sacred Scripture & citing many confirmational passages from ancient prophets & apostles. The 7th & final holy feast of the Messianic faith (which is in accordance with Biblical Scripture) is Sukkot (Tabernacles), beginning at sunset on Friday, October 2nd ('calculated' calendar) or Sunday, the 4th (visible new moon calendar), & lasts for 7 days, being celebrated in ancient & modern times by many who dwell in temporary booths with natural branches of various sorts (Wayyiqra/Leviticus 23:40). It is the final harvest of the year, being noncoincidentally called "Feast of Ingathering" (Shemoth/Exodus 23:16), as well as the true origin of the so-called "American Thanksgiving". This Feast has many prophetic foreshadows & types of Messiah, who was the Word made flesh & dwelt (tabernacled) amongst us (Yohanan/John 1:14), as well as of us who are the Temple of the divine Ruach(Spirit) of Abba Yah. A futuristic prophecy within Zechariah 14:16-19 speaks of the time when all Gentile nations will celebrate this Feast in Yerushalem with Yisraelites & worship the Sovereign, YHWH of hosts. Over 2,000 years ago, Messiah cried aloud on the last day of this great Feast during the priestly ritual of pouring "living" water (gathered at the Pool of Siloam) from a golden pitcher, & said : "If any man thirsts, let him come to Me & drink. He who believes in Me,...out of his heart will flow rivers of living water" (Yohanan/John 7:37,38), referring to the sacred flowing of the Spirit within.

this seems an awesome ambition – to love others as Christ loves us. We cannot
do it in our own power, but only as we allow the fountain of His love to bubble
up in our hearts and flow out to those around us. May your fountain overflow
more and more each day as you grow in the certainty of His love for you.

There is a portrait that is unique, so beautiful to me. This heart I hold close next to mine, precious all the time. I guard it and guard it well, my friend and her story to tell. I sing it everyday with colors that cant be named, like the rainbow you never see, her smile is a mystery. Past all pain and words cutting deep, I whisper healing to this soul I keep. Why have I been blessed so much, to dare impose a simple touch. But ahhh, I’ve been given more, a warm embrace, and an open door. And the heart of my friend is where I stay. I would rather be in no other place. I dance and skip with happy feet. I’m smiling big… can’t you see?

Do nothing from factional motives through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends, or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility & lowliness of mind let each regard the others as better than, and superior to himself, thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves. I’ve been blessed with two Beautiful Daughters that never cease to amaze me, they’re truly wonderful and have grown into beautiful woman both inside and out. Being a Mother has and is an experience I’m so thankful to have been able to have had, my daughters have given me so much. - I was also Blessed with a Beautiful Mother, who sadly passed away 1st June 2005, she was a very special person, all who knew her couldn't help but be touched by her love.
