Music...is a good thing in my opinion. I find it's best when you listen to it. I am knowledgable on the subject because I used to be in a country band (shhh).

   Angela's Blurbs
About me:

I live in London. I'm a poet. See my website. And look! The Jacket of my first book...published by Templar Poetry.

Facts about And in here, the Menagerie:

The title poem is about a taxidermist who has some issues.

This is my first full length collection and at some point this year, a CD will be coming along with it.

It contains one graph, one poem shaped like an apple, some wild horses, Long Distance Clara, a trapezium, owls and a host of lightbulbs.

I am having a launch reading at the Oxfam bookshop in Bloomsbury with Jane Weir on Wednesday 16th January.

It's out now to buy...

And some facts about Waiting to Burn

It's 44 pages long.

Some of the pages at the back are blank, so you can add extra poems of your own.

That may not be the real reason the pages are blank.

It's published by Templar Poetry.

There's a poem about my dead cat in there.

It's only three quid (the whole thing, not just the poem about the cat - it's a good poem but that would be taking the piss).

If you buy it from Templar Poetry, postage and packaging is FREE. You'll also be able to order it from Inpress Books or from Amazon. It's best to order direct from the publisher as they're a small press and it's cheaper for you.

You can see some sample poems (including the dead cat one) on my website.

Who I'd like to meet:
Christopher Walken, to ask if he will be my adopted Uncle. Just imagine it Uncle C ... long afternoons in the back garden sipping Pimms - trust me, you'll like Pimms. You would dance for us on the patio, while Uncle Harrison told us again how he got his scar. Uncle Bob would be strumming his guitar in the shade of that twisted old tree, and Uncle Bruce sweating hard in the garden, wearing his best white vest.

I could easily give it all up to live in your ambulance...it looks so cosy parked out on the street. I can't imagine anything bad ever happening in there. All the pedestrians will walk by and smile without knowing why as they take their evening strolls, arm in arm, and the whole world joins hands and sighs that big sigh that heralds the dawn of a new era of universal peace and one-ness. Like I say, one hell of an ambulance.
