Angela Engelman has been pushing the envelope and riding the line from day one. She was 2 years old when she sang her first song (in the back row, during prayer) and hasn't stopped since. With unruly red curls and a sass all her own, she credits her love for country music to an early introduction to Reba. Angela grew up in a small town outside Nashville traveling and singing with her family's southern gospel band. As a talented dancer, by the age of twelve, Angela started venturing into different styles of music. Listening to everything from jazz, hip-hop and rock 'n roll Angela began to create a style all her own. At the age of sixteen she was writing and recording her original music, which she has dubbed "southern soul" and by eighteen she was working with some of Nashville's most talented writers and producers. Angela has continued to push forward on her road to success in the music industry, gathering as much experience as she can and learning from the best that Nashville has to offer. In early '06 Angela met and began working with one of Nashville's most prominent up-and-coming producers Todd Taylor. Together they began working on a project that both showcased Angela's talents as a writer and her versatility as a vocalist. In the spring of '08 Angela was chosen as one of the 6 finalists on the Next GAC Star. With the recognition from the show Angela was quickly offered a publishing deal with an independent publishing company. Angela signed with Riddle Music in December of '08 and feels blessed to be surrounded by a music family who truly "gets" her unique take on country music and feels that now more than ever she is ready to bring her own sass and style to the country music industry. Are you ready?

Baaaahum-bug and much froZen Snot, to those that choose to rest to often. CRANK IT UP!... change the frequency, look for the switch, its there! To the one more powerful! this sound'n of "You" a bless'n, an equilibrium pressur'n, tidal wave display'n, longitudinal reach'n, from between ocean given mediums, come'n forth with much density, grace and strength, ever reach'n proportional elastic modulus speeds, with Harmonic physical properties, "its intensity sure", its kinetic energy oscillat'n with true direction. What could this be the unlisten'd give plea, the only sure respOnse majestically given, its the arising sound of creative greatness, out of thee, permiat'n thro' your hearts beat, as is forever believ'd and seen...thank YOU for being you...
