I also modeled for 12 years (don't hold it against me), and was a mime at the mall when I was 8. And I have a big mouth and am about to open it even wider in my new show Stirring Up Trouble!

I'm the Angela Shelton who made the documentary Searching for Angela Shelton. Making this movie opened my eyes to a epidemic of sexual and domestic violence when I interviewed other women with my name and discovered that 70% of them had been survivors of rape, childhood sexual abuse and/or domestic violence. Then I met an Angela Shelton who tracked sexual predators and lived in the same town as my father who abused me and my step siblings for years. And we arrived to her town on Father's Day!! I confronted my dad on Father's Day morning on his porch before he went to church. I thought this movie was going to be my directorial debut that I made quickly over the summer but it ended up changing my whole life, forcing me to heal, and created a movement of healing. That's why I started The Survivor Manual. I am back doing comedy, acting, and writing a new book and screenplay but my work was forever changed by Searching for Angela Shelton. Please help me to keep spreading the word by getting the movie, sharing it, getting better and leading Joyful lives.

My book faces denial head on. I talk about how I faced my abuse, my self-abuse, how I healed and how I broke the cycle of abuse in my life. My book calls for all victims to stop the cycle of abuse and lead joyful lives. Joy and Violence cannot co-exist. Many teachers are using it as required reading in their classes too! If you are a survivor and are nervous about facing your past, just touch the book - it feels great. Then jump ahead and read the last chapter.

The reason I'm doing my show Stirring Up Trouble is because I have healed from my past and am no longer prisoner to it. I am dedicated to always moving forward as a human and as a woman. I just happen to be a great cook and have lots of information on wellness to share. I will cover all things from having healthy sex and relationships, saving money, saving your life, how to grow your own food, how to take care of yourself and how to find and use a turnip! It is a comedy cooking show that will also involve aspects of my life reality style! Get ready to have some laughs and learn ways to take care of yourself.
Hey Angela! I'm leaving for Colombia around the middle of December, I'll be gone for a whole year. I'm going to volunteer as a nurse in the hospitals that are so poorly funded that they can't pay their staff. I'm also considering writing a book, and I was looking for insight on publishing. Please Help Save Our Theatre. In 2001, Victor Sobchak and Andy McQuade founded a theatre company at the Lion and Unicorn in Kentish Town. Over the years we have supported young actors, new writers, up and coming directors and entertained many thousands of people with bold and original theatre. In June, 2008, George Sallis, an actor who Sobchak gave his first theatre break to, surreptitiously contacted the owners of the Lion and Unicorn and offered them large amounts of money to take over the theatre.
