Television
I am currently hopelessly, shamelessly addicted to Mad Men on AMC. Don't bother me on Sunday nights. Seriously.
I also really love Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, Project Runway and I am just getting into Burn Notice. Bruce Campbell as a sidekick? I am IN! I am also awaiting the second season of "inTreatment" with Gabriel Byrne.
Other than that I like the History, Travel and Discovery channels. I used to be addicted to Sex and the City and Six Feet Under on HBO.

"...I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days."
Smart mouthed, quick witted, sassypants chanteuse. Loyal mama bear, VERY protective of my friends, they are my family. Quick to laugh, up for new adventures, secure in myself and know exactly what I want out of life. I am also extremely honest, sometimes brutally so. It's pretty universally known that you shouldn't piss me off. I am really nice until you poke me with sticks. hahaha I am also loyal and true, to a fault.
Most important in my life is that I am absolutely head over heels in love with my soulmate and husband, Dario.
I LOVE: DARIO VAVASSORI!!!
SINGING!!! PARIS!!! ROME!!! (all of Italy, acually) My friends, my Mom, my sister, Dylan Crosby Wheatley, my dog -Sage (RIP), my cat - Luna, Eddie Izzard, George Carlin, Ghost Hunters, movies movies movies!!, intelligent humor, ALL kinds of music, real people (the down to earth, honest, loyal, true ones - aka my friends!), wood burning fireplaces, spiced mulled wine, Screwdrivers, rum, pirates, Framboise, good coffee, text messages, whiskey, Golden Gardens, Indian food, thunderstorms, my house to be clean, cheese, laying on a blanket and stargazing, going to shows, people with opinions - not pushing them on people - just having them, dancing...
I DISLIKE: PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE PEOPLE!!!
Arrogance, liars, home wreckers, nosy barkers, drama queens, negative energy sucking people...I could go on and on.
My biggest pet peeve is when I am being STRIDENT about something and people tell me to "calm down." The dictionary definition of strident is: being sharply insistent on being heard.
It does not mean I am angry, it means I am venting.
If you can't handle it, that's your problem, but don't tell me to "calm down" because then I do get angry. And that anger is directed at you for being so presumptuous and condescending as to suggest that I am not allowed speak my mind.
Who I'd like to meet: I am here to stay connected with my current friends. Generally, if I don't know you, then I won't add you.
This is not to suggest that there aren't cool people out there that I'd like to meet. If you're going to write to me, you'd better have a brain in your head. That's of SUPREME importance. I like: non scenester, non drama queen types who are able to laugh at themselves. Witty, acerbic types and those with a scathing sense of humor are welcome! I also like people who make me smile; someone not afraid to be uncool; someone who isn't afraid of passionate people. Passionate people. World Travellers.
Mean people need not apply. Anyone with the characteristics I listed in "about me" that I DISLIKE can straight fuck off. And those who are ignorant just for the sake of being so? UGH, who told you that was attractive??
I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT INTERESTED IN MEETING MEN FOR A CHAT, A DRINK, A DATE OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. I AM MARRIED AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN YOU, IF THAT'S YOUR GAME. MOVE ON, GIRL COLLECTOR.

SO...May 10th won't work for the photoshoot-- yesterday, it came to a few girl's realization that it is MOTHER'S DAY!
Would Sunday, May 17th would work better for you? Around 11-ish?
To recap, this is a group photoshoot for our Hen's Den picnic flyer. The picnic will be our 1 year Anniversary picnic held in mid or late June. I'm inviting a couple car clubs and making it potluck-style. You are more than welcome to invite any friends or family :) It will be held at Golden Gardens around lunch time.
