Most know me as a jazz vocalist, but I have secretly written songs for my own entertainment that are of the not-jazz genre. They are my therapy.
I don't pretend to be good on guitar, my voice is my home. I have been learning how to let go of the drive for perfection, however, and I am content to make music for its own sake, embracing the imperfections as a distinct part of the beauty.
The first eight profiles on my Top People feature me on various tracks. Check those out for additional genres in which I have partaken.
Great set last night. I wish I could have been there to see everyone perform, but I'm glad that I at least got to see you play! Looking forward to sharing the stage with you sometime in the near future. = )
Thanks so much Angela! Really appreciate it. Great seeing you at Molly Malone's the other night. Thanks again for coming out to the show. Let's hang soon!

yeah man self recording is a fun way to go. If you ever need help with any of that feel free to ask, I've been doing it for a while. We're all playin next in early august with this cool band called Mouse Kills Tiger, you should check em out (I think they're in our top friends?) and then some other time in september probably we're playin with a band called Pollyn, this electronic-pop-rock-darkmoody band. should be fun times all around. and hey, if you ever feel like supportin' there's our iTunes page down there. I put the CD Baby one too because, just in case you want to help us but don't want to spend the money right now, a review of our EP is always welcome currency. There's a place at the bottom of our CD Baby page to write somethin. Let me know whenever you have new recordings up and whatnot! WOOO! seeya in august

I am only in LA every other week and I don't know how much longer that will the case. I love the open mic, the host is great, but it ends early 10:30, which is a new developement. His name is Jason Brain. That is where I met Damon. Thanks for the add, I am putting up "everything song" to celebrate!!!!
hi angela! thanks for sayin hi and checking us out! I remember the looping conversation... vaguely. like, i remember that "looping" was said. and that's about all. so what ever happened with the loops? are you into that now? are you into fruitloops? fruityloops? your music sounds great! very original. and yes, us jeff buckley and radiohead brethren should stick together, hahaha. do you live in LA? i'm about to granulate so that's scary.... but the plan is to stay here and do music and starve. so hell yeah! man I really like all your songs, though 'you are the only' is especially cool, i really like the background vocals. when are you playing next?
oh and hey, write a review of our music if you want! I'd love it if you did. you can follow this image link thingy to our cd baby page, where you can write one and stuff. have a good one!
