    Angeleyes's Interests
General

.

I have so many interests. Life has so many things to learn within it. Life is so much fun and so worth living. God comes first in my life. Then my partner/soulmte. Then my children (and their spouses...which have become my children also!) and my ten grandchildren (One of which is in heaven because of SIDS..his name is Jacob). My grandchildren are my heart and my life. Family and friends are very important to me. Relationships are the only thing that matters in life...as material things go away. sayings I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, GERD, a hiatal hernia, sleep apnea, myofacsial pain, and asthma to name a few things going on with me. The docs have said I have Lupus, but, the test never shows positive, so, sometimes I have symptoms and sometimes not, I have never been treated for it, but they watch. I have had a butterfly across my cheeks. I am on medications and go for many treatments to keep the pain level at an acceptable/tolerable level. I NEVER give up on myself or others!!! I am a positive person and I will do what it takes to help the doctors and to help myself. I have bad days, but, I don't let those days get me down. I go on. And I try to help and teach others to do the same. I am very blessed as a women, mom, and nana. I couldn't have asked for more in my life. All my children and grandchildren have made me proud in so many ways. From being good mothers and fathers, and being responsible adults (most of the time...LOL) to just being good people. Hopefully the teaching about spiritual things and about how to treat others and themselves such as doing unto others, doing no harm, and taking care of the earth and those less able to take care of themselves has made them what they are. And I hope and pray that it goes on and on for generations to come. Everyone of my children and grandchildren have something special about them and hope they realize that within themselves. My three oldest were born at the hospital, as planned. And my youngest, was born at home with a midwife, as planned. By the fourth, I figured I knew how to do this, and didn't need the "parade" of people at the hospital. I have one a daughter that is a youth pastor's wife and another daugther that is a former Navy wife. They just got out of the military right before Christmas. Because of the military family members and youth pastor family members, God and politics are spoken in our house...LOL. Although, we have always spoken about God and politics even when the kids were very little. It's important to me. One of my grandson's had Kawasaki's Disease and another had Gillian-Barre. Although, at this time the docs feel that it may not have been Gillian-Barre, and is just juvenile arthritis. I have cousins who have had different types of cancer, some have survived and others didn't. I have one cousin that has MS. She is a trooper and a great inspiration. And a cousins child who is Autistic. And another cousins child who had a brain/eye tumor. She is doing fine now. I have a relative that has bi-polar disorder and other family and friends that have chronic depression and mental illness. Others have had parkinson's disease, heart disease, one uncle had a stroke. Also, alcohoism, and drug use was done by some family members. I am sure that with families that are as large as mine is, you are bound to have some people with illness, and social issues. I have had an uncle who was gay and an aunt that was a prostitute. It's quite a colorful family, and I am not ashamed for their actions. They will not be judged for what they do by me, and they are human beings that I loved and have learned that you can love the person, even if they do things I wouldn't. As for others in my life, the husband I am separated from has sarcoidosis. And so did two of my female co-workers that my sparated huband also worked with. One is healed from the sarcoidosis and the other died. I am going through the divorce process at this time. I was separated for over four years and things just never got fixed. It's no one's fault, it just was time to move on. Neither one of us were happy. Jewish Myspace Stuff I am interested in learning new things, ethnic foods(all are good), but I love Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Greek, Pizza, Hamburgers and Hotdogs, seafood, steak. Just GOOD food. I love cooking, learning about cultures and spiritual things. I have an interest in Israel and Messianic Judism. I have many Jewish and Messianic Jewish friends. I am also into learning about alternative health, and many of the alternatives to western medicine. I do Tai Chi and Reiki. I like reading about HUNA. I love learning about Native Americans and have many Native Americans that I call my friends and family. I have learned so much from them. Learning that all religions are very much the same, and we all have these common threads. Like a silver web/matrix. I believe in "mindfulness", the law of attraction and peace & love and not wasting time, resources or anything. Wolves and Eagles are very special to me, as is being by water. All my NA family and friends and those who know me in real life, know what I am talking about. I am also very interested in the Asian culture and learn more as time goes on. Am also interested in MUSIC, dance, theater, comedy, crafts, collecting pigs, butterflies, angels, salt and pepper shakers, wolves. I like looking at stars, old cars, going to fairs and flea markets and reading, watching old movies, and "cop" things. I love candles and being by water and walking by a beach. Dolphins, oceans, seashells, nature (growing flowers, trees and gardens) are fun. Animals, especially wolves, but also any animal (horses, dogs, etc)..especially my cats make me a very, very happy person. As for sports, I love watching hockey...Blackhawks baby. Baseball...Da Sox. Football...Da Bears. And Basketball..Da Bulls. I would like to get a tattoo....not sure of what yet...maybe a wolf, or a dreamcatcher, or even tigger. But, I haven't taken the step yet to do it. I would also love to do voice-overs. I have been told I have a wonderful voice and I should use it...I always wanted to be a voice for cartoons and wanted to do voice-overs for commercials. Maybe it's in my future....I will have to work in that direction...so I can make it happen.

I'm complex, yet simple. I don't judge and hope that others don't judge me. I take people as they are and hope others can take me, as I am. It also doesn't take that much to make me a happy girl. I stay positive and in the light so it makes it easier. And most days I am a very happy girl!!!! I was adopted, and found my birth families. I was raised Italian and talk with my hands (LOL), but, birth-wise, I am Jewish and Irish. Interesting mix...LOL!!!! I have three sisters (who are half Japanese..on birth mothers side...mother was the Jewish one...their father was Japanese). One is a Nurse, One has a wolf refuge and takes care of the wolves and one works at a restaurant. All three live in different states then I do (Two in FL one in AL). My birthmother didn't marry my birthfather, and had the three other girls from the husband she married afterward. I have met two of the three sisters and we keep in touch by phone and e-mails. Then I have three sisters and a brother...(on birth fathers side...He was Irish) I don't keep in touch with any of them except my brother David and his fiancee Millie (but, for my birth-sister's it was thier choice, but who knows, someday things can change) I may be back in touch with one or more birth sisters on fathers side soon. My birthfather was in the Air Force for the Korean war. He married another women (who was Italian) and had the three girls and a boy. I was the only child that came out of the union of my birthmother and birthfather and the rest of the half sisters and brothers are all younger then I am. But, the parents who raised me are the ones I consider my REAL mother and father. They were both Italian. My mom was a homemaker, my dad was a newspaper truckdriver (YEAH TEAMSTERS!!!) He was also a marine from WWII. He was wounded in the pacific. I also had a brother who was adopted, but he died from Burkett's Lymphoma a week before he was 21 years old. After my mom died from leukemia, my dad remarried and moved to FL. So I gained my step-mother, and she had two sons, who are my step-brothers. Both are much older then myself and I don't have much contact with them. Oh well, their loss. I'm a fun person to know. My father died 12 years ago from Kaposi Sarcoma, and my stepmother has since passed about a two years ago. Anyway, both my mother and father came from LARGE families so I had LOTS of uncles and aunts (all died except for one aunt on dad's side. The one aunt that was my godmother and I was closest to just resently died a few weeks ago. She was 93. I also had many cousins (who I and my brother were the youngest out of all of the cousins...so some of my cousins have already passed on). Family was and still is very important to me. TO ALL THAT HAVE GONE TO HEAVEN, I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU EACH DAY. JACOB, my sweet angel grandson, MY MOM AND DAD, EDDIE - my brother,AUNT SANTA, MY GRANDPARENTS, AUNTS, UNCLES, COUSINS, GOOD FRIENDS - PATTY, BILLY, BIG JOE, ROSIE, CHUBS & IVAN LIZCANO. AND ALSO MY BIRTH PARENTS (Tom and Rae) BIRTHGRANDMOTHER (Marie) and BIRTH AUNT (Noel) & MANY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS. LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT THEM. BUT I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE TIME I HAD WITH EACH OF THEM..THEY HAVE TOUCHED MY HEART AND SOUL. THE MEMORIES MAKE ME SMILE BUT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE TEARS FLOWING IN MY HEART. Heaven MyHotComments

Causes that interest me...breast cancer awareness, SIDS awareness and Autism awareness. Asthma awareness, Lupus,MS, Leukemia and lymphoma awareness, Kaposi Sarcoma and Burkett's Lymphoma. Diabetes, Sarcoidosis, Ruematoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Myofacsial Pain. Heart disease, Stroke, And, I want people to be aware of Kawasaki Disease. I'm against Domestic Violence and Child Abuse and believe I am a survivor and so are my childrn. And I want everyone to realize that these problems are everywhere and touch many lives and we all need to fight against it. If you are going through things, you are NOT alone. There IS hope and there is light at the end of the tunnel. You just need to reach out your hand.... I worked for the state I live in for many, many years, and was very involved in politics, locally, statewide and nationally and worked with and for my union (IFPE- Local 4408), which I was on the executive board for many years. I also was a part time police officer for about five years. I have learned so much. And have much more to learn. I am very blessed. I am home on medical leave after many years of working two jobs. I was in a very bad car accident, that ended my careers. I am now searching for a home based business or work at home job. I will keep looking until the right "fit" comes about. Music

..
MySpace Glitter Graphics.. I like many different types. Music makes me alive. It speaks to my soul. I live with music on around me all the time. A bit of background. I used to listen to my transistor radio under my pillow at night. (Gosh, is that dating me...LOL!!) And I was the odd kid from the suburbs that used to listen to WVON in Chicago. But listening to that station, and WLS and WCFL it gave me such a love of music. One of my son-in-law's is a DJ (DJ Scream) and he has played with and for the best of old school/Hip-Hop people, lots from Chicago area (like Do or Die, Twista, and Crucial Conflict, to name a few). He has toured the country. He has made his own "mixes" of music and music is in his heart (as it is in mine). Motown and Smokey Robinson will always be in my heart. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and that era of singers were what I grew up on. And Italian music. I also like soft rock and easy listening. Eva Cassidy is definately a songbird and Norah Jones is someone I like to "relax" to. I like oldies (50's, 60's), I like most classic rock, 70's, 80's and some hip-hop. I LOVE Blues, Jazz and R&B/Soul. Eric Clapton, BB KING, Stevie Ray. And Hawaiian, especially Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. And I like Christian Music and Gospel. Some Country music too. Each type speaks to me in a different way. I am finding people on the myspace websites that I had never heard of before. To me, those are golden nuggets and treasures. Because music touches my life, and my soul, and when I find something new, it makes me happy. "myspace" has allowed me to find many artists I would have never knew exsisted. One of my very favorite artists in the present is Chazz Dixon. He is a great singer, entertainer and a really good person and good friend. Check him out...he is on my friend list on my top forty.

We saw stars in Hollywood and met Dean Martin, who kissed me on the check...and also met Edd Byrnes "Kookie"(77 Sunset Strip), who also kissed me, and wanted my parents to put me into "the movies". Que Sera, Sera....my life didn't take that path. But, it's been quite a journey. I watch Law and Order, SVU and CI; CSI-Vegas, Miami and NY,Flashpoint, The Unit, Army Wives, Ghost Whisperer, The Mentalist, Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, Bones, Without a Trace; NCIS;Two & A Half Men, Cold Case and Cops (Do you see a pattern here???....LOL)I also like Judging Amy and Crossing Jordon even though those are in reruns and some of the reality shows on VH1, even though the reality shows drive me nuts...can't stop watching the "dramatics". It's like potatoe chips....just can't stop with one. I do like the Food Channel...Bobby Flay, Paula Deen, Rachel Ray, Giada DeL, Iron Chef, Alton Brown (Good Eats) etc. I also like the travel channel...Bizzare Foods, Athony Bourdain, Traveling with Samantha Brown and treasure hunting with Kirsten Gum. Who I'd like to meet:
Well, I have met the most important person already and that is Jesus Christ. Just because I haven't met his physical being, I know who he is, as he is in my life. He has taught me to love others, to teach others about love, to love living things, all nature and never do harm. I believe that if you take out the institutionalizing of religion, and look at what it is all about...that answers ALL questions of who we are and what we are suppose to do with our lives. It would also bring PEACE on earth if everyone looked at life through the eyes of love. .... .. HitupMyspace.com

..
MySpace Glitter Graphics.. But as for others that I would like to meet: People who have passions, beliefs, and live their lives for those passions. Meeting people and talking with them and learning about them is so interesting. People who give their life for others, like Mother Theresa....so many people of interest. I have actually met some of the most interesting people, just in a restaurant, or shopping. I am sure Jesus puts people in my life. I hope I am a light to others. I'd also like to meet and be mentored by someone who works at home and can teach me/lead me through the steps to sucess. Anything that is not a scam, because there are many out there. And anything you don't have to invest money and never see a return. I want real opportunities, that hae REAL results. myspace

Enjoy plus-size fashions at their best while you help support and celebrate 40 years of size acceptance advocacy efforts at the 2009 NAAFA Fashion Show on July 31, 2009!

This year Washington DC will take its place as the leading plus-size fashion capital of the world as we bring you the NAAFA 2009 Fashion Show & Auction Dinner being held on Friday, July 31, 2009, at the Dulles Airport Marriott. NAAFA is the world's oldest, largest civil rights organization working to improve the lives of people of size. We turn forty years old this year and are going strong with the strength we need to build a new future. This major fund raising event for our organization will feature food, fashion, music and our well known Not-So-Silent Auction.

Plus size fashion designers from around the country will present their latest collections of inspired designs. These talented designers have a sincere desire to see women return to the truth within themselves as expressed through what they wear, giving women of any age and size the opportunity to be truly fabulous. We are happy to announce that we have award winning makeup artist, Maisie Dunbar, to assist our volunteer model participants with their makeup and hair stylists from Paul Mitchell The School Virginia to finish their looks.

A friend sent this quote to me a while back and I have kept it because I liked it.  I hope you like it too.

"I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving... we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it... but we must sail and not drift nor lie at anchor."

Oliver Wendell Holmes said this and it is such a powerful statement because it's true.  We have to move through life and not just float through life.

Talk soon my friend.

Many of you, my dear friends, have asked me how JJ is doing. I figured it would be easier just to let you all know this way. I'm caring for him like a sick child nearly 24 hours a day. I don't get much sleep (I'm not complaining) these days so I often forget to get back to you as I have limited computer time as well. It's not that I don't read your messages or think about what wonderful friends God has blessed me with. I truly enjoy hearing from you and love getting messages, comments and emails. I do want you to know that if I don't reply right away I will as soon as I get a chance. I love each of you dearly and thank you so much for everything.

We need many, many prayers for JJ. Prayers were answered for Winston (and continue to be) and without you I don't know if he'd be here with us today.

I have put up a web page on Winston's site for JJ. This will make it easier if you would like to check in on JJ. I will continue to update this page. I invite you to visit it as well as our regular updates page. Here is the link:

http://www.wingrace.com/JJ.htm

Thank you so much for caring. Your friendship means the world to me.

Many Hugs and Blessings,
Sharon, Nathan & the Bulldogs (Winston, Gracie & JJ)

Salutations,

I’m going through my friends’ list one prayer at a time, lifting your needs and that of your family before the throne of God. Here is a reminder from God’s Word:

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

To me this seems an awesome ambition – to love others as Christ loves us. We cannot do it in our own power, but only as we allow the fountain of His love to bubble up in our hearts and flow out to those around us. May your fountain overflow more and more each day as you grow in the certainty of His love for you.

Many blessings from

your friend, who is
Dedicated to Christ (aka Tammy)

"Psalms 118:4 Let them now that
fear the LORD say, that his mercy
endureth for ever. 5 I called upon
the LORD in distress: the LORD
answered me, and set me in a
large place. 6 The LORD is on my
side; I will not fear: what can man
do unto me?
Proverbs 11:8 The righteous is
delivered out of trouble, and the
wicked cometh in his stead.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then
say to these things? If God be for
us, who can be against us?"

To stand strong in this spiritual
battle is ours to do. It is God's
power that provides the victory
through them who stand.

God bless your heart Deborah.

Your brother and servant in Christ,
Pastor Rick

A friend just told this quote to me and I really liked it so I thought that I would share it with you.

"Change your thoughts, change your world."

This is from a guy named Norman Vincent Peale and he is so right on the money with this. Such a powerful statement.

Talk soon my friend.

if people choose only to remember the flaws about someone, then they are the ones who will never benefit from knowing the person who's made positive changes

I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend. I miss you!

Love and Blessings Always,

Sharon & Family†
