Angel House was formed in 2004 from the ashes of Birmingham band "Franklin". Pete, Simon and Phil are all from the industrial midlands of England and continue the tradition which has spawned some of the World's greatest Rock Bands from this area. They play Hard Rock Music, which can only be described as melodic with a gritty edge and attitude, but written and delivered in their own unmistakeable style. They always deliver an awesome live set, combining their own original material with the occasional carefully selected cover. Angel House have worked the UK circuit headlining their own tour and supporting bands such as legendary American rockers "Mountain", "Blue Oyster Cult" and "Tyketto", the UK's "Toby Jepson"(Ex Little Angels), "Airrace" and Wig Wam . A whistlestop tour of the US West Coast saw many new fans join the Angel House faithful, boosting US album sales and downloads. They are prolific songwriters and in 2004 produced a 2 track single which included the fan's favorite "Superstitious Woman". With airplay on BBC Radio, Radio2XS and Radio Gets Wild, the band have created alot of interest. Radio Gets Wild presented Angel House with their "Artist Gold Award 2006" and at a year end ceremony they shared the honour of "Best Band 2006"with Las Vegas band "Dark Life" . RGW quoted "Angel House are one of the best bands in the UK....if not the World". In the Summer of 2006, the band entered Madhat Studios to create their Debut Album "World On Fire", produced by Mark Stuart (Magnum). The Album was released Worldwide on 26th March 2007 on the Copro/Casket label. The album has received excellent reviews... Terrorizer Magazine reviewed the album and enthused about "6 Brilliant songs". Airplay has extended throuout Europe and the USA, with the band gaining many new fans. Described as a "band that just does the job, a no nonsense power trio", Angel House have consistantly proved themselves in the live arena, living up to their reputation as the band to see! Angel House recorded their much anticipated second album, *The Gun, The Love and The Cross* in June 2009 at M2 studios England, with Mark Stuart looking after production again. The band signed a record deal with highly respected UK label Escape Music, who released the new album in November 2009. Reviews have been excellent! Angel House will be touring the new album "The Gun, The Love & The Cross" early in 2010.
