Band Members	Angelina: Soul from a Real Artist singer/songwriter/pianist/producer underground phenomenon Angelina's musical journey has humble beginnings: her family leaving the former Soviet Union before she was a teenager to find both personal and musical freedom in the West, language barrier and all. Raised in East London and classically trained by her parents, Angelina soon developed a natural talent for music and in particular the sounds and rhythm of Soul. Her influences stemmed from the greats such as Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder to more contemporary artists including D'Angelo and Lauryn Hill. Angelina began writing and producing her own songs, homing her skills as a pianist and crafting vivid lyrics reflecting her current state of mind. The result was an honest and organic sound translating effortlessly into a self produced record giving the listeners a true understanding of the woman behind her stories. Angelina's MySpace page is now reaching a million hits, mainly in part to the buzz created from her amazing live shows and an online single "Down", in which London's The Metro Newspaper sites it as their "favourite". Being compared to a 'darker Alicia Keys' due to her piercingly honest lyrics and an 'Amy Winehouse on the piano', her possibilities suddenly became infinite. Her music is drawing support from artists such as T La Rock and Questlove making her journey international: singing for R&B star Ne Yo in Atlanta and having major label meetings in New York. Angelina's also recorded with Chuck Harmony and Heavyweights, who are responsible for hits with Mary J.Blige, Janet Jackson, and Anastacia, amongst others. Communicating her adventures live online via her video camera and new EP 'What Happened' now available on ITUNES and HMV, interest has soared making Angelina a true Underground Jem.
