Angel Isaacs is considered by many to have been one of the first national independent CCM artists. She was mentored by Dwight Liles who has had 400 songs recorded, 40 top ten singles, 19 number one records, 2 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, and 7 Dove nominations. Dwight produced her first 2 albums. She was the 3rd woman to receive a Master of Divinity from Lipscomb University. She created "Chapelgate," in the early days of ccm, a private hideaway for Christian artists & the paradise/waterfalls location of Amy Grant's "Lead Me On," video (The Number 1 Christian song, album, video of all time). Angel is the author of "Chapelgate, a Spiritual Memoir," which contains her Christian songs, poems, & short-stories from 1985-2009.

Angel will perform at The Deland Original Music Festival November 14th, at 1:30, Stage 14. This is THE LARGEST ONE-DAY INDEPENDENT MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE SOUTHEAST Over 100 independent acts featured on 21 stages held throughout the downtown historic district of DeLand during this 12 hour event consisting of: Rock, Folk, Blues, Americana, Jazz, Punk, Electronic, Hip Hop, Country and more. One day a young Christian mother prayed to God and said, "Dear God, if there is more to Christianity than I understand, would you please show me what it is?" God took her on an adventure. Her husband, Robin Isaacs, was the leading expert in computer-aided oil well drilling. They founded a company, ICDI, and purchased forty acres near Nashville from Vanderbilt, with 3 waterfalls in a gorge, an old Grist Mill, Grainary, Millpond & Dam, Guesthouse, Chapel, & a Lodge atop a cliff. Their property had previously been owned by Senator Edgar Evins & Congressman Joe L. Evins of Tennessee & was known as Evins Mill. (www.evinsmill.com)

They developed state-of-the-art drilling software as they restored their home & grounds. Angel was a Contemporary Christian Music recording artist so they turned the Evins Mill property into a Christian Recording Artists Development and Products division of ICDI & private hideaway and recording studio for Christian artists & named it "Chapelgate." Amy Grant made the video for "Lead Me On," at their waterfalls. It became the Number 1 Christian video, album, and song of all time. Dwight Liles produced two albums for Angel at Chapelgate and became her mentor. Then Robin died of a heart attack. God had answered Angel's prayer with 5 years of Daytime and prosperity. Now he would lead her through 5 years of Nighttime and hardship. A $690 million dollar battle over Robin's intellectual property was fought in Federal Court & Goliath won. Angel lost everything dear to her, including Chapelgate. Confused, Angel completed a Master of Divinity trying to understand the Bible & spent 15,000 hrs. studying the ancient Hebrew & Greek of the scriptures.

God's answer to Angel's prayer was an unveiling of mystical scripture, based on love, & understood by Jesus.
