Angelo Coppola began beating the skins when he was only two years old. At age six he made his first public performance. Since then he has been entertaining audiences all over the country. Angelo first received national attention when he became one of the youngest winners ever on the television show America's Most Talented Kids performing Rock & Roll All Nite by KISS. He has since played dozens of performances professionally at festivals (Michigan State Fair, Sterling Fest, Armada Fair), KISS Expos (Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Dayton), and special events (Radio Disney, school functions, private parties). Aside from entertaining as a professional musician he has made it a point to provide entertainment for many charitable events using his talents to help others less fortunate than himself. Some of the charities Angelo has helped raise money for include: Easter Seals, March Of Dimes, American Heart Association, Lymphoma & Leukemia Foundation and Juvenile Diabeties Foundation. In July 2006 Angelo released his first CD titled "Pound For Pound". Angelo co-wrote all the songs, played all of the drum tracks, and covered all of the vocal parts on the disc. "Pound For Pound" contains a variety of rock & roll genres and reflects Angelo's taste in rock music. In 2007 Angelo recorded drum tracks for the KISS tribute CD titled Christine Sixteen 2 and was featured on the TV show New York Rocks. He also recorded drum tracks for the 2008 Metallica Tribute CD "Teach Em All" which also features John JD DeServio, bassist for Black Label Society & Cycle of Pain. Angelo has gigged around Metro Detroit with virtuoso rock guitarist Anthony August and his former band WHIPLASH. WHIPLASH packed venues for over a year and had their music regularly played on WRIF. Hey Angelo! Just dropping in to see how things are goin'! Looks like you've pretty busy. That's fantastic!! Me? Looks like I "might" be going back to the Rod Stewart Tribute act that I was in 11 yrs. ago. We played China, Japan & Malaysia as well as the States & Canada. He still does...I talked to him today & I will be seeing him perform here in my home town of Beaumont (5 thousand seater hall). He's still pulling around 7K-10K a night! But has been using a band from L.A., that are actually a David Bowie impersonators band. He's kinda tired of that set-up. I think he wants his own band back. So, since I know all the material & have a guy that would be the perfect guitarist for him. We get a good bass player & we'll have it ready. It would be great to tour w/ him again!! He pulls great crowds. Lots of fun & great pay & travel. I really need that break!! Cross your fingers for me bro!! ;-) Thanks!! Always my best to ya!! God bless.. Keep in touch!
