God answers so many of our prayers and at times it may be in ways we may not even understand. He even answers prayers that we have not prayed and gives us joy in the form of many blessings in our lives. He knows exactly what we need and what will bring us happiness and fulfillment! We should thank Jesus, every day for so many wonderful blessings in our lives (our family, our friends and especially those who dearly love us and have truly given us their love in our lives and for those who we dearly love in return. This is truly a blessing).
Sometimes, though, God does not give us what we pray for because it is not what is best for us. Although we may think it is good and the right path, He knows something we don't, and what we are asking for may ultimately hurt us, so he protects us. If we do not always have our prayers answered as we expect, God has a better answer than the one for which we are asking. We just have to have faith! He has already answered us, but we must keep praying until we see that he has.
Sometimes we do not always understand why God does not seem to answer our prayers or why difficult things and sadness occurs in our lives. It is at this point that we must continue to put all of our trust in Him and have complete faith in God. We may never know the answers, but we must continue to pray from our hearts and to believe. He is always by our side, even though we may not understand everything in our lives. He is always watching over us, He feels our pain, He hears our prayers. Have faith. Pray. God will always give you strength in life when you need it the most.
At times our prayers may not be answered for a different reason. Perhaps we need to grow somehow in life and within ourselves before we will be able to take the path that God intended for us and he will answer our prayers. God may give us challenges to grow in our spirit and especially within ourselves during our lives. It is up to us to RECOGNIZE these opportunities (to give them much thought and contemplation and to act upon them). It is up to us to better ourselves internally and as a person by learning life lessons and perhaps sometimes making difficult changes in our lives. This is important to note and to constantly strive to improve as a person. --To recognize changes we may need to make within ourselves deep inside, to grow, and to go where God is guiding us and trying to lead us.
Since God knows us so well and He knows what we need and when we need it, He might say yes to our requests and then give them to us at a later time. This is good to know. It gives us hope and confidence when we pray. Trust in God. He IS listening to your prayers. Believe in Him.

We live in busy and distracted times. Our days, lives, and minds are cluttered by the cares of this life--things to do, things to enjoy, things to watch, listen to, worry about--things upon things upon things. And in the midst of it all, the still small voice calls to us to "Be still and know". Know what? That God is God. That He is in control, on His throne, holds each day in His hands, knows your future, cares for you, wants to meet with you, wants to love you.
Be still and know that you need to be still and spend time in His presence. It's needed. It's necessary. It's of utmost importance. But we are so distracted. It is hard to come into the presence of God and focus on Him without the cares of life interrupting, bleeding through, screaming for attention. Imagine if the reverse were true. What would it be like if you found it hard to focus on your work, a book, a movie, etc, because your thoughts, feelings, and life were so consumed with God. Imagine if God was your biggest distraction. The irony is, that if He were, the distraction would not be a detriment, but an empowerment as you would do all things as unto Him, focused on Him, allowing Him to do things through you that you can not even yet imagine. Do try and see what He means when He says, "Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit." (Zechariah 4:6)

Living a life of faith and in Christ: Jesus suffered and died on the cross for our sins, was raised from the dead, and offers life everlasting to those who believe in Him and live their lives for Christ with the grace of God within them. Living your life for Christ: God wants us to help others and treat them as if we were helping Jesus, with this deep kind of love -- "For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in" (Matthew 25:35).
God also wants us to remember to love Him and seek Him with ALL OUR HEART. He is the one true Almighty God. The God of the universe and the creator of all things. The way to Salvation is only through Jesus Christ our Savior. Let us always remember to also forgive others who do us wrong, just as God forgave us and continues to forgive us for our sins. God's grace is within us. It is in following His ways (the ways in the bible and His teachings), through belief in the Passion of Jesus Christ, believing in His Great Love and sacrifice for our sins, prayer and faithful worship to God, proclaiming our belief, forgiving others, and helping those in need (and so much more) that we really live our lives for Jesus.
As we strive to become closer and closer to Jesus, we will see God's grace transform us and open our hearts even more to live our lives truly for Christ and to have a deep and personal relationship with Him. God's grace is absolutely magnificent and so beautiful. We need to give ourselves to Christ, totally and completely in all ways and He will change our lives more than we could ever imagine. WARNING ABOUT WICCA/WITCHCRAFT: So many people out there are sinning against God these days by practicing "wicca" (witchcraft) or things "dark". WARNING ABOUT FALSE PROPHETS/"LOVE AND LIGHT" CONCEPTS:
Many other people are being misled by others who preach the new "oneness with the universe", "love and light" and other "New Age" teachings. Please see my blog on "The Secret" too. This sounds good and makes us feel warm and fuzzy inside to hear of spreading love to everyone and that we are all one in 'love and light'. But -- think about it..
WHERE IS THIS FOCUS? These concepts are great sins against God if we do not make sure that we praise God and show our love for Him first and foremost. "We love because He first loved us". :)
The "New Age" concepts and way of life is a sin and the work of the devil who tries to deceive and lead people astray and away from God. This is because the focus is not on the one true God of the bible but ignores this God (and also does not acknowledge that the ONLY way to salvation is thru Jesus Christ) and only focuses on "love". I see so many people proclaiming "love and light be with you" on myspace with no mention of the God of heaven and Jesus. Love without God, love without Jesus Christ mentioned as our Savior is steering our minds away from God. Every minute that is spent in this type of mentality and following these concepts is a minute we have lost to become closer to God.
What if you died tomorrow? How would you feel about these 'love and light' concepts then? Please think about it. I have seen some on myspace even suggest that "we" can be Gods and have our own power and so many other horrible false teachings. Please be very careful in what you have been told or convinced of thus far and take a closer look at your focus and put more emphasis on God in yourlife. This is all that I ask. To be open-minded and think about your life and the direction it is going. God gives us so many blessings (beyond our imagination!). If we truly give our heart to him, He will guide our lives in the right direction and never lead us astray. God Bless you always, my friend, and thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. :)
GOD'S LOVE: God wants us to look to HIM as the creator of the universe and the source of all love, to praise Him and do things because we are a child of the love of Christ. The love in your life stems from it's source which should be your relationship with GOD and trying to become closer to our beautiful Jesus and in exhibiting this in your life as an outward sign. From Him our love flows out to others in our lives. We should try to make it known that God is an important part of our lives along with the 'love' we bring, and to truly help others to have a deep relationship the one true God of the bible, the God of our creation.
Love concepts should not replace our burning desire to become closer to the one Almighty God. God does want us to love others (most definitely!), but he teaches us that "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH" (Mark 12:30). These are powerful words Jesus gave to us. Something to think about.
Legend of the Butterfly
Once as a child many years ago...
on a balmy summer's eve.
I sat in the yard at my Mother's side...
and a butterfly lit at my sleeve.
"It's a sign of good luck", my Mother said.
As the butterfly stayed at my arm...
"It's a symbol of all the beauty in life.

First butterflies are eggs and after they hatch...
they see that their life's just beginning.
They're content with their lot in life,
so, they go out on a limb and start spinning.
They stay out awhile in a magic cocoon....
then emerge like flowers in spring.
Then they share the story of their victory and success...
through each of the colors of their wings.
The gold in their wings is the"Golden Rule"...
To follow that is a must.

Through this site, I would like to express my belief in God and Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and hope to be a source of inspiration for Him in our lives. This inspiration to meant to remind us of Jesus GREAT LOVE for us and to REMEMBER the message of Salvation which I have described here. Jesus died for our sins so that we could have Eternal Life! God will always guide us in our lives if we will turn to Him and place our trust in Him. There is always room to grow closer to Jesus in so many ways! He is waiting for us to call upon Him and truly make him a part of our everyday lives.
If you currently believe in Jesus, but have not spent time with Him lately to make Him an active part of your life, my hope is that perhaps you may see something here -- something that may stir a feeling in you. A desire to want His presence and love to fill your life! A desire to learn and to live by His words, praise and thank Him for our wonderful blessings, and help others. Jesus will hear your prayers and help you if you reach out to Him and trust in Him.
God's grace is with us. We must have FAITH in God, deep faith, repent of our sins (not just once but live our lives for Christ), praise Him and live our lives to serve Him. Let us remember to PRAY. He welcomes us all with open arms as our Heavenly Father and He wants to help and guide us. We just have to open our hearts to His great love and care. Many of my friends are a wonderful inspiration of Jesus living within them and in their hearts and lives.
Jesus loves us more than we could ever imagine! Life here on Earth is only temporary. It is so short compared to Eternity. There is a Heaven which is God's Kindgom and there is a Hell. Our actions in this life determine and reflect what is important to us. We need to choose life in Jesus Christ for He is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life"! (John 14:6)
I hope to help others grow in Faith, Hope, Courage, and Love and to serve God with all of our heart and soul, as we travel on our journey in this life and ultimately to Salvation in the Kingdom of Heaven. God Bless all of my wonderful friends whom I cherish and love. ♥
The Doctrine of the Holy Trinity:
There is only one God.
God exists simultaneously and eternally in three distinct persons:
God The Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
Angels are the servants and messengers of God, doing all as God pleases, serving the accomplishment of the divine plan. God has given each of us a special Guardian Angel from the moment of our birth. The role of the guardian angel is to guide us to good thoughts, works and words, to preserve us from evil and to lead us to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Angels are mentioned many times throughout both the Old and New testaments of the bible. Christ is the center of the angelic world. They are His angels: "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory." (Mt 25:31) They belong to him because they were created through and for him: "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"(Col 1:16) They belong to him still more because he has made them messengers of his saving plan. Guardian angels are specifically mentioned in the bible when Jesus says: "See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:10) In this passage, Jesus acknowledges that children ("these little ones") have angels ("their angels") in heaven in the presence of God ("continually see the face of My Father"). These are the "guardian angels". Hebrew 1:14 says of angels: "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?". God has charged His angels with the ministry of watching and safeguarding every one of us that behold not His face. Angels will also be indispensable at the Lord’s Second Coming because Jesus tells us: “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” (Matt. 16:27)
