It depends on individual perception and cultural background, I suppose. I try to create soundscapes for my own imaginary films, I feel what I do from a very visual and sometimes narrative approach.
I'm composer and guitarist in the avant-rock band October Equus. As guitar player and improviser I've developed an eclectic style blending different techniques as tapping, unusual tunings and/or electronic manipulations in real time, and openly influenced by different musical cultures.
The work 'Land of Rain and Steel' was recorded in april 2007, in the recording sessions for the October Equus' album 'Charybdis'. The tracks sounds as was recorded, with no overdubs or post-production.
