Post-punk power trio Autoban bring their fusion of guitar-hookery, punchy rhythms and stiletto-sharp lyrics to the Academy II on December 5 for their inaugural 'Mad Hatter's Ball'.
Bowler, Beret or Beer Hat; Fedora, Fez, Tribly or Top Hat, the possibilities are endless. So get your Thinking Cap on and dig out your finest for a hat-tastic night of dirty dancing. Hats are compulsory, dissidents will be shamed and ladies can accessorize, obviously.
Support on the night comes from a motley crew of Dublin's finest party djs. Check myspace.com/autoban for details. Tix from ticketmaster.ie
Great gig last night. Pity it was so empty. I thought there would have been more people around. I enjoyed it anyway as always. Got a little video of the last song you performed:
Yes, indeed, it is always good to have an Ontarian in your band. We have several and it seems to be going well. Sounds good guys. Sorry for lateness of my reply. Cheers.
No probs Darragh and its very good too. I hooked up with a singer songwriter a few months back he's got about 30 songs written. So I've been working hard on basslines etc first Jam with drummer next week so I'll be hitting you up for a support slot when we're ready. Hope everything is going well on the album. Where yis recording it?
