We are so-called "eccentric mutant rock" (Time Out magazine). We challenge you, the listener, to compare us to anything else, or to furnish a description!
We set up in 2002 as a collaboration between Jowe Head and Lee McFadden, adding Mick Frangou on drums. Chloe Herrington joined on bassoon and alto sax, then Nick Smith on bass. We recorded our debut album with this line-up. More recently, we have the new line-up of Jowe and Lee, plus Jeff Bloom on drums and Marina Young on bass, plus recent addition of Rob on sax. Jowe played with Jeff in the Television Personalities, and Rob in a version of the Househunters. Lee knows Marina from The Long Decline. This 5-piece is the current live line-up.

"Shine On" is a instrumental surf version of our garage rocker "We Know Where Mr Barrett Lived" (the vocal version - our tribute to TVPs "I Know Where Syd Barrett Lives" - is uploaded on our profil)
THERE WAS A MAN or We Know Where Mr Barrett Lived
there once was a man had the world, he had it all, money to spend money to lend, yes he was a king, but he could not controll the absent thing, that ticked in his brain, yes a mind game, he pondered so long to an unknown song, so more that he was long gone, pailed by the secrets that took his sparkle in his eyes, away in his dreams, oh how very obsence,
if you shine on again, then we know where ya been, and if we knew what we were searching for, then Syd you wouldn't seek the secrets once more, whether were or not maybe we'll never know, but the secrets we have well lets us search forevermore,
there once was a man who was sick of himself, who heard a thousand thoughts in head, who kingdom land no one would understand, yes oh yes his mystic land, oh why don't you tell us more,
there was a man who could tell no more, now he is a man who is lost ashore, with blank eyes, that looked on and on, chase the dream wonder on, in your darkest dream when noting is what seem, you still go on and dream, even when you sleep forever, there is everything to uncover, were still left to wonder, there was a man but was he just a man

Luke Sky has reformed Fashion for a new album. Given that 2 of the band are dead and one is missing, this will take a bit of doing. The new album – a remote virtual space recording project – should be available later this year (I'm writing it as fast as I can, okay.)
New Fashion line-up:
Luke Sky – guitars/ primo vox, keyboards
Kev Mann (Alternative TV) – drums
Moose Harris (New Model Army/The Damned) – bass
Bàlcöny – keyboards
From the brink of the 80's headfirst into the 08's, Fashion are still the future of no future!
