Although the idea of social conscientious songs isn’t new some of the issues are relevant to today’s plight. The slow killing off the middle class, the over taxation by free spending corrupt politicians, the economic imbalance between the haves and have nots are all things worthy of writing about. “Wake Up!” is a call on the silent majority most of whom have become so disillusioned with America that they have all but given up. “Workin’ Man” is dedicated to the men and women who are now referred to as the “Greatest Generation” because of the united effort put forth during WWII and the tremendous prosperity they worked to create that now seems to be a distant memory. “That’s America Today” and “The Din You’re Livin’ In” will be released in the next couple of days. This country is in trouble and if we continue this life of greed and apathy we are all sure to lose our freedom. www. randylotz. net
