I'm very ecclectic. I love just about everything. I love Gospel, Hip Hop, R&B, & Rock. I like classical, particularly anything for flutes, seeing as I played the flute since the age of 10. I love golden oldies and Motown hits, reggae and soft rock. I love jazz music of all kinds and genres. I have a particular weakness for saxaphone jazz. (I have a longstanding joke that if you want to get me in bed, play some sax jazz for me! LOL!)
My all time favorite saxophone jazz artist is Alfonso Blackwell, followed closely by Boney James, and Walter Beasley.

Television
Law & Order SVU, as well as regular Law & Order (so long as Jesse Martin is in it!). Don't like Criminal Intent cuz it sucks. Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Burn Notice, whatever happenes to be on that's good. I even like watching the Disney channel. I absolutely LOVE FOOTBALL! Show me a college or NFL game on tv and I'm watching it! UNC baby! GO PANTHERS!

All of the Harry Potters, Eragon and it's sequels, The Chronicles of Narnia, books by Bertrice Small and James Patterson. I also love anything from Eric Jerome Dickey, whom I was lucky enough to meet in person and have a couple of books autographed by him. Basically, I'll read anything with lots of imagination and adventure, or just a damn good plot.

My pastor, my husband (and Gaurdian Angel), and all of the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who are risking their lives every single day to protect our country, and rid us of terrorism. So I guess it's fitting that I was born on Independence Day!

I love reading all kinds of books, doing crossword puzzles, enjoy many genres of music, shopping, going to church, riding horses, and spending quality time with my husband. I go to a wonderful church called True Vine Ministries, and I love my church family every bit as much as my blood family. I like to go out with friends, or just hang out at the house and play games. I LOVE to bowl at least once a week, and I like to go dancing.
On December 11th, 1999 I married my college sweetheart, the love of my life, Eric, aka: DRAGON. We have been happily married for 9 years. I have never been more blessed than when God sent him to be in my life. We've had our ups and downs, and there have even been times when I seriously considered leaving this marriage because of the hurt he's inflicted on me emotionally. But ultimately, my love for him, our love for each other, and our faith in God has overcome all of our obstacles and adversities, no matter how big or small.
God has played a huge part in the saving of our marriage. When most others would have given up and divorced, Eric and I persaveered and our relationship is now even stronger than ever.
Now, nine years into our marriage, we have a little bundle of joy on the way!!! I'm finally gonna be a mommy!!! The Lord has blessed us greatly and abundantly.
To quote from a favorite poem of mine that I wrote for him all those years ago when I first met and fell hopelessly in love with "mi Angelo Drag'on":
"I Will Love Him Forever, Even As We Grow Old. His Flesh Is Made Of Dust, But His Heart Is Pure Gold".
Just like our matching tattoos that we got together in December of '03, We are "Forever Bound, Eric & Rana"...

The happiest day of my life was December 11th, 1999, the day we spoke our wedding vows to one another. He's made a lot of sacrifices, and risked his life fighting for our country in Iraq, among many other things. Every single day, I thank God for all of the many blessings He has given me. My family, my friends, my church, and most of all......
