My children Lance and Garner who are all grown up and living their own lives with families of their own. A little bit about me. Just in case you are still reading..:)
I am a VERY 'together' person who LOVES people and life. I always try my best to do 'the right thing' but sometimes, I screw up. Like everyone does now and then. NOBODY is perfect~! So - I go through life with the best attitude that I can. I have learned to APPRECIATE the 'little miracles' in life. What are those? The warm sun on my face, a nice cozy warm house to come home to when it's cold outside. The smell of morning coffee brewing, along with the bacon and eggs :) A snuggly blanket. A good book to read. Music to soothe the soul. A smile from a stranger. A hug from a child. The sound of someone's voice that you love. Friends to stand by your side when you think nobody cares. And last but not least, the blessing of GOD's unconditional love.
I am into music BIG TIME! I also collect "angels" and am interested in spiritual/paranormal happenings. I am a very spiritual person. Not a religious fanatic. But I am VERY close to GOD.
I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I believe laughter is great for your health in all ways. So, if you're sick.....try watching a funny movie. IT WORKS!
I love animals and have two cats. Smokey and Jourdin. Smokey is the outside cat and Jourdin is the indoor cat, so she makes up for the time Smokey is away from me. She loves to sleep with me or lay in my lap when I am on the computer. She is so sweet. Another 'little blessing' in my life.
I have MANY interests and love to learn. I recently got my CDA in early childhood development! YAY ME :)
I have also learned to listen with my heart and have so much empathy and compassion inside of me that sometimes it gets me into trouble or misunderstood, which pretty much sucks. :( Sometimes, I think I am too spiritual and am on a higher plane than most people and they just don't get what I am all about, in that respect. I am speaking along the lines of the Angelic Realm. Trust me, it isn't easy.
I love to dance. And sing, of course :) I will always sing no matter how old I get. I truly believe it is good for your soul and can heal your heart when you feel blue and forgotten.
