Born in march 2000, Angelus Apatrida became in seven years one of the most important spanish thrash metal bands. Many demos and band members passed through the history of AA but it were in january 2003 when the band changed members, band logotype and attitude and decided to make a harder and faster music, nearer to that of bands like Pantera, Megadeth, Overkill, Anthrax or Annihilator.
The first album EVIL UNLEASHED (Maldito Records, march 2006) made the band one of the biggest thrash metal acts in Spain, with Legen Beltza, Killem, Omission, Barbarian, Rancor, Arterial Pressure and much more, they all redefined the Thrash Metal scene in Spain.
The band played in almost each spanish capital cities in a one-year tour, and other dates opening shows for bands like Sepultura, Barón Rojo, Destruction, Horcas... and being part of many great rock festivals such as Viña Rock 2005 & 2006, and Leyendas del Rock 2007.
The second album of the band, GIVE 'EM WAR, was recorded in June/July 2007 at NewLife Studios, Madrid (Spain) produced by José A. Garrido, Daniel Melián and Angelus Apatrida. Kosta Vazquez mastered it at Oasis Studios and was released past September 28th through Molusco Discos / Mastertrax. This new album, harder and thrasher than Evil Unleashed, is supported by a tour with more than 30 dates in Spain, Portugal and France including important festivals such as Hard Metal Fest (PT), Yeste Rock (SP), Bidache Metal Fest (FR), Atarfe Vega Rock (SP), Lorca Rock (SP), Leyendas del Rock (SP) and much more!
