This is a photo of my baby cat, Haiku. She nearly jumped to her death yesterday ...
So here I was coming out of the shower and heard what sounded like a cat being eaten by a lawnmower (or maybe it was singing and in heat?) and I went over to the open window to see (it's humid and muggy today) ... my baby cat was sitting there and I meant to stick my head out the window (I do this all the time with her in the windowsill) but somehow I startled her and (as I wrote to a friend, “she flung herself out the window [!] I was terribly upset since this isn't something she has ever done before but luckily my bedroom is only the second story so she didn't have far to fall ... I ran downstairs in my towel and she was happy to be fussed over and brought back inside.” As you can see from this photo Haiku is none the worse for her little adventure ... hope all is well with you!
