About me: Angie Daniels is a chronic daydreamer who loves a page-turner. Already an avid reader, by age seven, she knew early on that someday she wanted to create stories of love and adventure. During the fifth grade she began her journey writing comical short stories, and later started her school’s first newspaper. As her talent evolved she found herself writing full-length stories that offered her readers a full dose of romantic suspense. “I enjoy writing whodunits because they allow me to use my imagination to the fullest extent. When I combine it with a love story it’s like spreading icing on a cake.” Angie has sold fourteen manuscripts to date. Beginning her career in 2000 with Genesis Press, she later joined Harlequin in early 2002. Then to her excitement, she sold her first women’s fiction to Kensington Books in 2003. In 2003, she was the recipient of a Romance in Color Reviewer’s Choice Award. In 2004 she won an Affair de Coeur award for Hart & Soul. In 2006 she received an award for the Best African American Romance for 2005 from Romantic Times Magazine. She loves to hear from her readers!
