Interests

  • General

    Music has always been a big part of my life. I grew up listening to rock, country and gospel. My aunt Mel played the piano and sang at church. My mom sang for her church choir and also sang solo. My sisters and I would sometimes be included. Just about every summer we would visit family in TN where my cousin Ricky played the guitar and we would all sing along. Just recently I found out that my great-great grandfather played the spoons and the washboard! I guess music runs in the family. Maybe I will finish those piano lessons I started as a kid.

    I'm pretty generic in my genres. I personally think there are too many. I listen to rock, metal, rap, hip-hop, a lil country and a good ole gospel song or two. Pretty much whatever I'm in the mood for.

  • Movies

    I haven't been to a movie in forever. It's been awhile since I've rented any dvd's. I probably can't remember how to work the dam thing. Mostly drama, horror, true story.

  • Television

    I don't watch much TV but, when I do it's usually CSI, Missing, Cold Case and a few others.

  • Books

    Motivational and music...that's all I have time for anymore. I am currently reading Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life by Wayne Dyer and This Business of Music Marketing and Promotion by Tad Lathrop. Another book I'm reading and I highly suggest is Start and Run Your Own Record Label by Daylle Deanna Schwartz.
