Family and friends are my biggest influences as well as our lives together.
The students I teach Music Technology to are a very interesting influence!
Musical influences have helped me in many ways, not just with songwriting;
Eva Cassidy, Nora Jones, Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morrisette, The Corrs, The Beatles, The Stones, are just a few that influence, but as far as the music I listen to, its such an endless list that is always growing and evolving. There isn't much I don't like. A musician with a passion for what they do is enough to gain my respect.

Here's her dream...Writing and singing for a living.
How possible is this in a world where manufactured music gets more of a chance than decent talent? Angie Keo decided to write and sing anyway, even if its just for herself.
Angie Keo has been singing and writing songs since she was old enough to string a sentence together. It has always been the dream, as many others will have. The difference with Angie is she's not in any hurry for fame and the fortune, she's in it for the music and that feeling you get when you hear a great song. Keep the fame, and the fortune for that matter, just like what she does and she'll be happy. Her major aspiration is to make people feel that way from her songs. Then she'll know she's on her way...

Before I begin I’m sending this to everyone so if you think why on earth is she sending me this, it’s because I’m sending this message to everybody.
Anyway, I’m arranging a Walk for Cancer Research event at the Lickey Hill’s in Worcestershire, England. At the moment I’m not exactly sure on the date but it will be around August time, because most people will have finished school etc.
There are two groups you can join for the up to date information:

Saturday 25th October, our last hometownish show of the year at The Tardebigge. It's a charity show for Oxfam, starts at 8pm and it's a fiver. Headlining is a Motley Crue tribute band! So yeah, it's going to be fun haha.
Last week @ The Yardbird we had a cracking opening night featuring some amazing talent!!! Next Monday will be as good if not even better and we are featuring THE CELTURIAN.
