Influences
Mellisa Ethridge, Susan Vega, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne
Before she turned 16, Angie Pepa has already written and recorded songs that
she wrote. A Filipina-American and resident of Gaithersburg, MD, she started
pursuing her musical endeavors in January of 2004.
Born and raised in Guam for 5 years, spent the next 5 years in the
Philippines, then came to the U.S., this talented girl currently attends
high school in Rockville MD.
Most of the inspiration to write comes from her and her friend's life, and
some come from her influences such as Christina Aguilera, Melissa Ethridge,
and Suzanne Vega. She taught herself to play the guitar and from time to
time she gets tips from her father to improve her skills.
Recently, in May 2006 she found her band. Consisting of a lead guitarist (maika), a bassist (Carla) and a drummer (mike).
Her debut album entitled "all of the above" was released on July 9, 2005.
Eight of the songs in her 10-song debut album are her compositions.
Angie and her band actively performs at various music venues in the metro Washington D.C.
area.
" Fifteen-year-old Angie Pepa plans a future within the music industry.
"Lost" filters her lyrics of teenage life through acoustic guitar strumming.

This specially compiled 4 CD Box Set from Time Life features the best Folk Rock songs from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s! Includes 71 Songs That Defined An Era and Influenced Generations... In Stores September 11
Not just another genre, folk rock was born as a statement—of purpose, of taste, of superiority—the baby boom’s first imprimatur, a musical mission and a personal battle cry in a divisive time of racial tension and escalating war. For a generation of philosopher dropouts and drug-inspired visionaries, it was also the best way to partake in the era’s hippest form of artistic expression, in numbers previously unknown to man.
Angie, Did you get my invitation for you to create your profile on Infamas 2.0. You are one of the original 4 so please create one ASAP. Let me know if you have any problems. Nate
