I really enjoy traveling,and scrapbooking my memories,as well as hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy doing some advocacy work for parents who have children with mental illness. and I like to work with CAbF-Child Adolescent Bipolar Foundation)as well.
However,recently I became more involved with working with others who also suffer from Fibromyalgia AND Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since I am personally affected with this HORRENDOUS Pain-staking illness!! We need to educate others about the disease and how its just as profound as any other medical disability. Just because they cannot see our symptoms doesn't mean we aren't suffering.
Then there is the kid in me, because, I also enjoy collecting good luck carebears, mickey mouse stuff and carousel horses as well. It's the kid in me that helps me smile within.
Lastly, I also enjoy researching the Irish/Celtic culture. Not only is it part of my incredible ancestery. But I find it an amazingly beautiful culture with alot to give. With Family names of " KEENAN," "O'CONNELL", AND "COLLINS" how much more Irish can you get! come learn something with me..

Anything you can dance to! But I must admit I am a huge 80's music fan. I also love a good personal song with meaning and depth!
I'm a nerd and junkie when it comes to tv! I love reality tv- its a helluva a good laugh and free entertainment,is how I look at it. You will find my tv on A&E, Discovery Health channel, WE, MTV and SPIKE TV alot.
I love shows like DOG the bounty hunter, MAN vs Wild, a shot at love with tila tequila, americans next top model, project runway, top chef,mystery diagnosis and my ultimate favorite are all the CSI's shows..they run on 3 different channels and I often switch back and forth between them.
Most times,I'm ususally doing other things when the TV is on(Like on the computer, lol)and I will have the shows on playing in the background and be listening and half paying attention.
I also like a good movie. Romantic comedies are great, sappy woman ones, heart pounding action and of course anything with my girl; Angelina Jolie in them!

I like to think of myself as an intelligent & fun person who will do anything for a friend or family member in need. I love to laugh and cry if its the right kind of cry. And I really like to travel and be outdoors.
I enjoy being involved with other organizations and volunteering but I often have to remind myself to be ME! My true friends support me and do not expect me to change and thats what its all about!
Oh and I'm a PROUD Native of New York and always will be. You can take me out of NY but you can not take the NY out of me.
Now, I must admit I couldn't wait to get out of NY, I so needed to live in a new experience and try a new atmosphere...however since being gone from NY I miss it so much more. I guess that is what happens when you are away from those who truly support and love you. Now I can't wait to get back there and I count down the time until I can move back home or at least alot closer that where I am now, because I am certainly feeling isolated out in south dakota.
Who I'd like to meet: I really enjoy talking with other fellow Jaycees from anywhere! I also am very interested in talking with others who suffer from Fibromyalgia.
I Enjoy meeting and talking to other people who have children with Bipolar Disorder as well as people who suffer from Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. They are both illnesses that are robbing our children from their youths and perfectly normal people from their every day lives. they are both terrible diseases to deal with daily.
As far as meeting anyone real special, I would love to meet Maya Angelou as I find her an inspiration.I also would absolutely LOVE to meet my idol ANGELINA JOLIE, because I feel she is an incredible woman who has faced alot adversity. No matter what anyone has said about her, she has become an amazing mother to some beautiful children from aroound the world. She's is also an angel doing humanitarism as she works for the UN as a Goodwill Ambassador. I ONLY wish I could do a sliver of a difference of what she does in the world. But I would love to meet her.
ENYA IS MINE & MIKE'S SPOILED PRINCESS,CAN'T YA TELL?
I had alot of the same emotions & questions when I lost my youngest sister almost 6 yrs ago and I still don't know the answers or the reasons....just that it happened and it sucks & hurts like hell. I hope that you can find comfort in even just the small things. Cry when ever & where ever you need to and don't be ashamed or afraid of who's watching. Sometimes a good cry helps us to feel better. And know that I'm here for you!
