   The border issue is a big deal right now I know. Personally I have lived in poor neighborhoods most of my life where there were many illeagle farm-workers. Most I would preffer as neighbors compared to most people in California I know. The mosque issue has been a big deal also. Below are a few you-tube links that may cause you or your friends to see these issues in a different light. Religious freedom in the USA is what we should have always and we do want immigrants because those are the people that created and built the USA. Yet when religion tries to take advantage to cause physically harm to others a line has to be drawn.
  If you check out these links you will see what I am talking about. My oppinions are just mine. Let their actions and words speak for themselves. These videos are recent not years back.
