Formed in 1997, the band released its first EP in 1998, called "Rage". The next release would appear in 2001, after several concerts with big names in the European metal scene (like Rotting Christ, Avulsed, etc). "War of Life" was the name of the band's first LP. After some line up changes, the band took some time away from live performances and stayed in the rehearsal room for awhile. 2004 marks the beginning of a new era inside ANGRIFF. In 2006 the guys released their second LP, called "Under the Decadence", a machine gun shooting the faces of religion and the USA. After touring Portugal from north to south, the band developed their sound and played with legendary bands like Sepultura, Testament, Sodom, Destruction, Moonspell, Vader, Extreme Noise Terror, Vital Remains, Tankard, GBH, Primordial, etc and indisputably put the name of the band as one of the great institutions of thrash metal music in Portugal. In 2008 the band reformulated again and a new line up recorded the ep "Art of Aggression", in 2010. It is Angriff's strongest release to date and it has been acclaimed as one of 2010's greatest metal albums! The band has changed line up again, and it has now Bala on vocals and Kira on the 4 strings.
