Since everyone's always asking what I use to make these sounds, here's a list:
Most often I use FL Studio and ACID Pro to create and arrange the music. I also use (in no particular order): Reason ReBirth Audiomulch ModPlug Tracker (been a while...) as well as some VST plug-ins like e-phonic compressor, LoFi Plus, Glitch, and Freeverb (most of the things I could do with other plug-ins I do manually in ACID Pro, like make "retrigger" effects, and reverse or pitch-shift audio.)
