ANGRY VS THE BEAR is frantic. It’s noisy. It’s fizzy electro pop punk. Despite having only been together just a year and a half, eccentric English electro pop band Angry Vs The Bear have already showcased at the SXSW '09 festival in Texas to a sold out crowd that spilled far into the street and were voted Gibson’s Number 1 Band of the festival. They were then selected to showcase at the CMJ Music Marathon festival in New York in October ’09 and have been invited back to do a further showcase at SXSW ‘10.
They are set to release their first single ‘Show Emotion’ produced by Simon Gogerly (U2, Gwen Stefani) on 1st March 2010 and will be touring the UK for six weeks during February and March.
Recent supports include Florence & The Machine, The Hoosiers, Esser, Dirty Pretty Things, Reverend & The Makers, Red Light Company, Flashguns and Bens Brother.
