Bon Shout is a superfan of AC/DC. He gets close to replicating the legendary sound of Bonn Scott and also manages to replicate the sound of Brian Johnson, which is no mean feat when some top tribute acts need two singers to achieve the same results.
Malcolm Younger is a talented musician / guitarist who also provides backing vocals. Has a hypnotic style and plays killer licks, complementing "Angus" with ease.
Angus Not-So-Younger fills the other guitar slot and as an AC/DC fan, he makes it look very easy. Mild-manered and talented until someone river-dances on his effects pedals, then he turns into Rambo McClain Van Damme! He and Malcolm complement each other very well.
Stick Williams is the youngest member of the band at 18 and is the bassist. Built like an anorexic whippet, it's a feak of science that he doesn't snap in two when he puts the Thunderbird over his shoulder. Has the envious ability to learn songs in seconds, plays with a passion and has the stamina of youth on his side. Also provides backing vocals too.
Elmer Fudd is the non-musician, he plays drums very loud and is the tubby member of the band.
Angus are all AC/DC fans who replicate the music of the legendary supergroup. We do our best to sound like the real thing and with our own Bonn Shout we're as close to the early years as you can get. We love to play for the sheer pleasure of bludgeoning an audience into submission with killer pub-rock boogie. We recorded the demo tracks on this site at the PMC (thanks Doc!) and it was a great experience for us and in particular for Gareth and Matt who had never recorded before.
The best review we have had to date summed us up by saying "we are a tribute band, without going overboard" which pretty much sums us up, shut your eyes and you'll enjoy top AC/DC tracks played with conviction and respect, we do play with a passion for AC/DC and work hard to do them justice.
Currently playing tracks from the early years such as Highway to Hell, TNT , Dirty Deeds and Whole Lotta Rosie but also including iconic Brian Johnson tracks such as Back In Black, You Shook Me All Night Long and Thunderstruck, (amongst others).

Hey thanks for the invite. What could be better than a band rockin to AC/DC and in Plymouth too!!! Well you can count me in to see a live gig or two, infact I see your playing at the Barcode which is walking distance for me..even better. Not sure if I saw a newspaper article about you a while back but when I heard there was a local AC/DC band I was stoked. Keep in touch with any news and good luck! Rob
hi again mate we did meet tall guy fender bassball hat used to play in a band with shaun. I spoke to you when you came off. Cramp was nasty but you pulled through. Great nite out very cool band.
8thy Nov @ Junction - Review What a great band ! Full on singer with a real sense of fun. Solid Rythm Section pumping it out ! Young Lad 17 on bass great player and the legend that is Shawn Kelly AKA Angus not so young tee hee. This band is a tribute act without going overboard. They recreate ACDC in a pub "Not easy". Backing Vocals and Main vocals could be louder and Excellent 2nd Guitarist needs to come upin mix killer licks missed as he was so quiet. The band has a personality and an identity and to get plymouth punters with there arms up shouting ANGUS ANGUS ANGUS must have been sweet! The Music of ACDC has a wide scope as fans in the crowd were young uns 18-25 and old rockers in there 30-40s. Although restricted in movement by a titchy stage they rocked and rolled big time. One comment heard outside from a dissapointed ACDC fan who could not get tickets to the big tour "At least these guys reminded me what fun ACDC are and I didnt pay £40 to get in!
This was the music Shaun Kelly was born to play with his beat up upsidedown SG. He brought the power chords and riffs to life and showed what he really loves in yer face rock music. I have always admired his playing eventhough he plays upside down - maybe hes australian too ha ha. Perfect boxy tones from this graet guitarist reminded me how much fun I had when we played in a band together many years ago.
I will be back to see this band again as they had a clear idea of who they want to be. They brought stadium good time rock to a pub and they rocked!
Check em out for two hours of foot taping head banging fun - youll be glad you did.
