About an handful of dust: cercano chitarrista!

"an Handful of Dust" is an italian metal band (based in tar100 - udine) born a few years ago, that plays an unique kind of heavy metal, mixing thrash metal sound of bands like testament with the melodies tipical of the more melodic progressive metal sound. They've just finished recording their first full-length self-produced cd, and are now ready to spread their music everyehere. You can hear 4 tracks in the player, and order a copy of the cd if you like. Enjoy!

Granducato Di Metallo	Jul 2 2009 1:13 AM Ciao ritornati dal Gods of Metal dove abbiamo lasciato ben 4000 copie della nuova compilation "Invasione Totale Vol.3" andiamo avanti con la nostra stagione estiva. Il prossimo sabato 4 luglio 2009 nell'incantevole zona della cascine di Firenze, precisamente all'Ippodromo Le Mulina, suoneranno i rinnovati Dragonia, che da ormai un po' di tempo si sono presentati con una nuova veste e nuova strumentazione (mic ad archetto, chitarra 8 corde e keytar solo per dirne alcune) interpretando uno show molto avvincente. Inoltre ti vogliamo segnalare anche un altro grande evento del nostro caro amico Trevor dei Sadist: Metal Valley che si terrà sabato 11 luglio all'Area Expo di Genova con un bill notevole: Entombed, Rotting Christ, Necrodeath, Dark Lunacy, Coram Lethe, Ritual Rebirth, Bad Bones, Kadavar. Officine Giovani	May 29 2009 1:41 PM PROGRAMMA DEL LABORATORIO Primo Incontro: panoramica sui software musicali attualmente in commercio, cenni storici sulle vecchie tecnologie per la registrazione prima dell’avvento dell’ Hard Disc Recording e dei Software Musicali, esempi pratici su Cubase 5 con l’utilizzo di tracce audio e MIDI, virtual instrument e plug-in. Secondo Incontro: realizzazione pratica di un arrangiamento musicale completo di un brano Cover con a disposizione file audio di voci, chitarre e loop ritmici e l’inserimento di tracce midi con l’utilizzo di vari Virtual Instrument. Terzo Incontro: sintetizzatori e i campionatori: cenni storici, analisi delle varie tecniche di sintesi, analisi dello schema a blocchi di un Synth Analogico, comparazione tra synth hardware e software, analisi di un campionatore. Quarto Incontro: il missaggio finale per la creazione del master: tecniche di missaggio, utilizzo degli effetti, il remastering.
