ANIAETLEPROGRAMMEURMACHINEROCKPARISBERLIN
ANIAETLEPROGRAMMEUR is an electro machine rock band formed in Paris in the early 2005 by ANIA J.(machines) and Hanri G.(vocals, guitars and machines).
From their first show this same year, the both half based Paris/Berlin members have toured almost without a break across Europe/France/Germany/Italy, performing about a hundred shows, comprising raw rock crazy guitars/vocals mixed with a massive wall of electronic beats and synths.
Booked around in venues like White Trash, Maria, Kinzo, Westgermany, Eel pie, Big Eden...(Berlin), La Fleche d'or, le batofar, la mécanique ondulatoire, ..(Paris), they have been a part of nights known as Squeeze Box parties, Europaische Club Nacht Berlin, Dead sexy Festival, Bogotrax...
Besides performing ANIAETLEPROGRAMMEUR live, the two members perform djset and live electro set in venues, art galleries, weird places and have also been ordered for exhibitions, theatre and independent movies music and soundtrack.
The pair grow also with working on their two side projects CRASHCOMPUTER and METROPYRAMIDE, the first consisting in an extreme approach to playing/unplaying electro music with handleing to killing processes and crashing programms and/or processors, the second including a mix of acoustic and electronic human played sounds.

Anyone suspicious of the authenticity of Crystal Castles should investigate this cacophonous riot of an electro punk outing forthwith. This is simply visceral stuff, amongst the most exciting, devastating, coruscating material the genre has puked up thus far. Based in Paris and Berlin, the duo of Anai (machines) and Hanri G (vocals, gtrs, machines) have pedigree in excelsis and the naked aggression to match. ‘Die Kir(s)Che Auf Dem Kopf’ features 12-explosions of gtr debris, manipulated frequencies, broken keyboards, and distorted vocal magnificence. I’ve been boring anyone who cares to listen for years now with my praise for Gallic musical supremacy, and ‘Die Kir(s)Che Auf Dem Kopf’ is yet further proof of its continued ascendancy. Recorded in Paris in 2008, anyone worried about where the future’s going with regard to true innovation and risk taking in the arena of alternative sound should look no further.

"Aniaetleprogrammeur are hotly tipped for success in 2009. Their visceral, dirty electro rock, reminiscent at times of the darker side of Late Of The Pier means these guys are currently the nom du jour to drop in electro circles. They mix the big electro sounds that Berlin is renowned for with the melodic overtones of the Parisian Kitsune sound. It settles nicely as a mish-mash of hard styles, from techno to ambient, always with an inflection of programmable synths and noises integrating itself within the harsh vocal style and big drums. Ostensibly likened to Crystal Castles due to the similarities in both sound and presentation (one boy, one girl), it is however their European flavour which has captured the critics attention. 'I Am Not From London' has all the bite of Justice; pounding drums follow pounding drums, occasionally breaking into a monstrous dance beat whilst Hanri pours his caustic vocals on top. It's quite thrilling to listen to and the album rarely lets up. They show their ambient side in 'J'ai Decoupe Dans Un Journal', a terrifically odd number that ends in spoken English. Language is variously employed to great effect within the album, switching between their two native tongues (French and German) and English, all used to convey different meanings and feelings. The pair have a good chance of stealing Crystal Castles' crown as the premiere electro duo, but I will reserve such judgement until we see which single they choose off this fine album."

"Plunging you straight into a electro cacophonyas unrelenting as speeding down the autobahn this two piece producegloriously noisy, imaginative and fun machine rock. There's an air of Soulwax-remixed Raveonettes to the sleazy, fuzz of tunes like Ich habe eine kir(s)che auf dem kopfand a distinctive European flair which belies their Parisian/Berlinerroots. Through the 80s synth wail you can catch glimpses of thatlaconic sense of humour that is distinctive of a lot of contemporaryFrench, German and Italian bands.
It's one of those records that is consistently fun, each track managingto up the ante on the one before, delivering a beat, a synth-line or aguitar or vocal hook that catches you and makes you long to be goingcrazy to this in some dingey, indie basement bar. What impresses mostis that this feels raw and live, especially on a track like Ohhh where the drums clatter against a wandering synth with occasional titular bursts from vocalist Hanri G.
Ania J. contributes vocals on tracks such as the duet I Bet You Stalk Me, which is a bellowed anthem of conflict and desire, the instrumentation oozing in and out over a none-more-New Order drum-beat. Though there is the odd dud over this record's twelve tracks, such as the dated-sounding J'ai Decoupe Dans Un Journal, it's usually swiftly followed something good, like the rock swagger of Juste Toi et Moi.
This is a record for putting on as you get ready to go out, much like - in my opinion - Soulwax's 2 Many DJs and deserves to be as lauded as the similarly machine-based Fuck Buttons record. I already know this album will precede many evenings in 2009."

"Excellent techno-industrial-punk soundclash
I’m going to go out on a limb now and translate the title of thisalbum using only my schoolboy German instead of Googling it. I reckonit means “I have a cherry on my head”. German speakers / Googlers, write in and tell me whether I was talking bollocks.
Anyway, Ania Et Le Programmeur (or Aniaetleprogrammeur, as theirlogos tend to display it) are a self-styled electros machine rock band, meaning they mix live guitars and vocals with electronic beats andsynths hailing from Paris via Berlin – very cosmopolitan of them. They’re also very good.“Ich Habe Eine Kir(s)che…” comes on like the bastard child of Einstuerzende Neubauten and Atari Teenage Riot, albeit less po-faced than the former and less irritating than thelatter, perfecting the mix of cold techno beats and furious glam-punkguitars. For which, we are obliged to love them."
