A Nickel Bag Of Funk is an eclectic mix of jazz, soul, rock, r&b, gospel, and most importantly the funk. All members are musicians that I enjoy working with.All though the line-up is ever changing, the funk remains the same.
Nickel-Bag has been featured on the Jesse James cult TV hit "Monster Garage" on the Discovery Channel, a full feature in The Savannah Morning News Accent page, a personally requested feature for movie star Sandra Bulloch, the current House Band for The North Beach Grill, and can be seen at various venues throughout the Savannah and Hilton Head areas.
"Adele's singing style mirrors her diverse interests, swinging from a smooth, low vocal opening on a George Benson cover to an Ella Fitzgerald-like scat. When the band gets into a funkier mode Adele sings loud and raw on Rufus Tell Me Something Good.
