Alis Dee is a 22 year-old Australian bureaucrat working in a government IT department. That's her day job. In her spare time she hacks PHP, draws, writes and plays too much World of Warcraft. She is roughly 5'8", likes the colour black and would definitely not call herself a goth. She believes in God, though not in the way most people would understand it, and is instead a kind of pantheist Lokean. It's way too long to talk about here, but she encourages anyone who is interested to contact her. Oh, she is not easy to talk to; you have been warned.

Alis likes opinions, political theory, reading books, Asian genre films, Silent Hill, dialectic thought and critical analysis. She is an introvert, and a femmegeek. She rarely watches TV, hates superheroes and trashy pretentious pop culture. As far as she is concerned, Twin Peaks is the only worthwhile thing David Lynch has ever made. She enjoys fluffy kittens and the smell of fresh cut grass. Most female celebrities look the same to her. She has a weakness for male characters with hooves, horns and wings.

Alis currently lives in a small flat with her long-suffering fiancé. Her birthday is 12th November, making her a Scorpio.
